I actually purchased it the day we had the BBQ and opened the Museum for the Texas Prowler Stampede. The car arrived in Houston Wednesday night and had only 940 miles on it. Here are a few pictures Drew unloading the car: Me driving the car into the museum: A picture of the myself with the car: A signature on the frame: Monroney sticker: Bob Eaton's application for Florida title: |

Which brings to mind the question of whether or not to title it in Mike's name. That breaks one of the paper trails showing the history of the car. I think I would leave Mr. Eaton's name on the paperwork. More historical significance. JMO |

Mike....congrats on catching a rare piece of MOPAR history....not only does it enhance your collection, but it will be a very important Prowler for decades to come...I have owned some "firsts" of their kinds and it is always something a little "extra special" to talk about at a car show........ |

Mike, what # is the Body tub? Its on a white sticker. Open your hood and look at the drivers side, next to the front of the door. Most of the time its hand written. This message has been edited by cnote6 on 06-20-2004 at 10:57 PM |

I think I met Bob in Tallahassee once. He was at a gas station that I was filling up my Kat at. He knew quite a bit about the car and said he bought it at an auction for I think about $140,000. Wasn't sure if I should believe the guy I met, but maybe it WAS him. He was in a truck, by the way. ------------------ |

Mike: What would you pay for the first prowler to 100,000 miles. I think I would be willing to sell it for the right money. ------------------ |
