Right Curtis!

Vin 00001 was made for Bob Eaton who at the time was chairman of Chrysler.

Vin 00002 was made for Bob Lutz.

I feel extremely fortunate to have acquired the car. I actually purchased it the day we had the BBQ and opened the Museum for the Texas Prowler Stampede. The car arrived in Houston Wednesday night and had only 940 miles on it.

Here are a few pictures

Drew unloading the car:

Me driving the car into the museum:

A picture of the myself with the car:

A signature on the frame:

Monroney sticker:

Bob Eaton's application for Florida title:

Which brings to mind the question of whether or not to title it in Mike's name. That breaks one of the paper trails showing the history of the car. I think I would leave Mr. Eaton's name on the paperwork. More historical significance. JMO

Mike....congrats on catching a rare piece of MOPAR history....not only does it enhance your collection, but it will be a very important Prowler for decades to come...I have owned some "firsts" of their kinds and it is always something a little "extra special" to talk about at a car show........

CONRATS MIKE!!!
We need a special license plate for this cat being in the museum,,,,,my suggestions: POA 1 or REAL #1

Judy - I'm thinking we are running out of room in the museum for Mike's new adventures. I may have to park one of the Vipers or the Goat at my place, Get back to me on our joint administrative decision!

Mike, what # is the Body tub? Its on a white sticker.

Open your hood and look at the drivers side, next to the front of the door. Most of the time its hand written.

I think I met Bob in Tallahassee once. He was at a gas station that I was filling up my Kat at. He knew quite a bit about the car and said he bought it at an auction for I think about $140,000. Wasn't sure if I should believe the guy I met, but maybe it WAS him. He was in a truck, by the way.

Mike:

What would you pay for the first prowler to 100,000 miles. I think I would be willing to sell it for the right money.

Wayne - If you're going to hit 100K first I hope you enjoy spending a lot of time behind the wheel of your Prolwer over the next six months. I'll be hitting 90,000 by Labor Day (81,000 + right now) How far ahead of me are you?
