I love this car and it hasn't disappointed me at all. Has met all my expectations. The only thing that I think about often while driving the car is that it would have been nice to have a "dead" pedal to rest the left foot on while driving. Between the differing angles when sitting in the seat, I find myself trying to make my left foot comfortable. |

There are tradeoffs- I'd like a bigger trunk or a small backseat, but that would mess up the stylistic lines of the back. I'd like a little more ease of getting in and out with a higher roof line, but that also would totally mess up the lines. The rough ride is just a part of a sports car. Bottom line the only thing I would like different after all the tradeoffs is more stock horsepower. ------------------ |

I'm glad they built it it. I didn't expect much in creature comforts but I love it the way it is. It's not a 300 C...it's a sports roadster....hard ride and all. |

quote: Randy, Here's some good news for you. As a few of you may know, I have quite an extensive history of automobile racing and fabricating. Pulling from my past experience in performance driving and suspension, I have some prototype parts on my car that soften the ride substantially while at the same time increasing the cornering capability of my car. I finished my prototype stabilizer bar last week and tested it under some extreme conditions this last weekend. I would like to do some more testing before releasing it for sale but I have had NO PROBLEMS and am VERY HAPPY with the results so far. My new FMB stabilizer bar will not only make your car handle better but ride better as well. I expect to sell the stabilizer bar kit for under $250.00 I'm also working on a shock/spring package for the front of the cars. The price for the shock and spring package should be around $750.00 and will be a direct bolt in replacement for the stock parts at a lower cost than the factory stock parts. The prototype shocks I am currently using feature adjustable valving and are rebuildable. I am currently experimenting with shock valving for compression and rebound to get the optimum setup for the Prowler. Ride height can easily be raised or lowered with my current prototype set but my production sets while probably be fixed height so as not to cause confusion for the end users. More information will be coming soon! ------------------ This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 05-17-2004 at 08:41 PM |

I guess the only one I can add that is not already up here has to do with the door design. Not only would I like it to open farther (solvable), but I also would have liked a much lower door. I am not crazy about the "bathtub" feel and like to rest my arm on the door. Even at 6'4" that is tough to do. |

I drove my Prowler some thousand miles so fare. What I dont like is. 1. Driving Comfort 2. Steering precission ?( The steering is not very straight, feels soft if you drive quick- , unsafe) ( ... my 1934 Ford 3W-Coupe can both ponits a lot better..) A V8 would be nice, but I can live with the rest of the Prowler Factory Hot Rod. |

If I didn't like it, I modified it! The only thing left is 5 or 6 speed tranny. Actually - the aforementioned stick shift, a power top, second cup holder and power seats are the only minor wants I wish they had included. |

Love my Prowler!!! Although I agree with some comments... These are acceptable for the car (Prowler!) I would like to have seen more storage area in the cockpit. I can not think of any change that would help |

My only complaint is the headroom with the top up. Either it needs to have the seat go lower or the top be a little taller. Even in Seattle it does make me take the top down more, and I use mine as a daily driver, in winter as well. A larger gas tank would be nice. More power would need an even bigger gas tank. M. Every car has its flaws. The unfortunate part is that you can't please everyone. I just feel that the Prowler emits a certain coolness every time I get behind the wheel. It is equipped with all the present day options but its styled like an old street rod. I couldn't even think of owning any other car. Hope all of you have a great weekend! Brian |

A V-8, or I'd be really happy if the preformance matched the weight to "advertised" power ratio of 11.23 (2840 lbs/253 hp). From everything I have learned, read, and reviewed, this car would have to have about 40% drivetrain losses to meet 253 hp at the engine. With 253 hp at the engine and typical 20% drivetrain losses, this car would run similar to late model pony cars. But I still love the Prowler. Nothing even remotely like it. |

1. Should've came with a V-8 or turbo in the V-6 2. Doors should open wider 3. More fancy interior like in the Crossfire 4. DEFINITELY a power top (what happened DCX?) 5. Noise reduction when top is up 6. A little more trunk space (lol) 7. Speakbox cover should have been fiberglass not cardboard covered up by carpet 8. Bigger gas tank Bottom line, still love the car & very pleased with my purchase. Would do it all over again! This message has been edited by akadvs1 on 05-22-2004 at 09:50 AM |
