Looks like the shirt I designed 4 months ago, and the banners I use for car shows... Would have been nice if you asked if it was OK to use !

The ORIGINAL idea was from the old PPC. I doubt if they copyrighted it, EITHER. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/010130.html This message has been edited by ed monahan on 05-16-2004 at 10:20 PM |

The word "PROWLER" the FONT STYLE of the word "PROWLER" and of course the Kat Logo are all copyrighted by DC. That is the reason my design was not allowed to be sold without written DC permission, so I posted it for INSPIRATION PURPOSES ONLY. It is legal to use protected logos as long as not selling, so it is legal to use for yourself. This is the reason I didn't sell it... CJ- can tell you more. As far as the remainder of the shirt, the wording, they are mine by intellectual property rights. I don't mind if you use them, but really do wish you had asked first. ------------------ "Dali" is Dr. Mike & Mrs. "Jo-Jo" S. near Dallas, Tx. Owner of a 2002 Inca Gold named "Picasso". |

Ed is correct this T shirt design (with a few minor variations) is over 5 years old. On the original which is a black shirt with white lettering , the front says "I Prowl Therefore I Am". The back has the top 10 answers. |

It wasn't my intent to sell the shirts for a profit, I just liked the one I saw and thought a few of you guys might like one. I can give them to the people who ordered them, no big deal.. |

WarmnCool, get more made for the Texas event. They will sell like hotcakes. The POA does not care if you share your idea with others. Every mod is not an original. Therefore, everyone is copying off of everyone else, without permission. That is what the POA is all about. Just my opinion. Others may disagree. |

Ed- I'm not talking permission, I'm talking courtesy. And yes, some do disagree. Good evening, Dr. Mike ------------------ "Dali" is Dr. Mike & Mrs. "Jo-Jo" S. near Dallas, Tx. Owner of a 2002 Inca Gold named "Picasso". |

OK, I just dug out my Official Plymouth Prowler Club T-Shirt 1)It's a Plymouth Prowler, not a custom Here is another thought. If they are truley the 10 most ask questions how can anyone own them? I won't get into the other copyright issue because I don't know enough about it. I just think the issue of copying the ten question wording issue is getting blown way out of proportion. Warm, If you choose to have more made I will take "3" large. Thanks for taking the idea and doing something with it that we all can enjoy. Most of us realize that you were not in this for the profit, but for the fun. Most of us also do not mind paying for something we want. Hope you can get some more made. Jim |
