We will be there for sure. Have booked the room, but that is about it. Once I finish my mini-thesis, May 3, I will be able to get the rest of the items taken care of. |

Sorry Dawn, but you said: "Once I finish my mini-thesis, May 3,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,," If you had said a 'full' thesis, I wouldn't have disturbed your thoughts, lol. OK, get to work on the studies!!! I'll keep your centerfold picture out from the July/2002 issue of GIRLS GONE WILD in WET TEE-SHIRTS magazine out in my work area to refresh my memory on what a contest winner should look like |

For the many NEW POA members and/or those who have been around for a while but have never attended a large gathering of Prowler Owners from many staes and Canada - you should REALLY consider attending. It is about meeting many of the people that post here and share a common passion for our cars. It is about cruising down the highway with dozens of Prowlers. That is just plain COOOOOL. It is about seeing the modifications others have done with their cars. (Beware - this could be hazardous to your checkbook! ) It is about socializing, talking, laughing, and telling tales in the hotel parking lot long after the sun goes down. It is simply a blast. I will have to see if I (or someone) can find the links to the video clips Mike Gatlin produced for some past POA events. Those ought to get you revved up. If you are THINKING about attending, sign up now. The unreserved rooms at the hotel have to released in a couple of weeks. Happy Prowling Marty ------------------ |

AC...see what you started! Mini is actually only about 75 pages, I'll let you know when I am done, in 6 weeks, start to finish including research. Like Marty said for anyone thinking about Texas: 1. There is nothing better than being part of a Prowler parade where ever you go. We had 50+ in one day at a local kind of event over a year ago. That was a blast. 2. Nothing beats a Prowler owner for friendliness. Regardless of age, gender, religion, or whatever, Prowler owners are the best. This board is a perfect example. 3. Join us if you can! I can almost guarantee that you will have a great time. This message has been edited by purplecat on 04-18-2004 at 04:18 PM |

Hello everyone, I just registered tonight, it was passed the dateline I hope they will let me attend the event. I gave some of my hard earned money to my daughter to buy a house in Austin I will stay at her house, I do not need a hotel. Her house is on Mallard Lane not far from the event. |

quote: Hey Sam - glad to see you are joining us! There really is no deadline on when you can register. We just wanted to get as many of the funds in for registration as we could before we had to start making payments on event items in May. That way we wouldn't be coming out of pocket personally to pay for downpayments on the cruise on Monday, etc. People can show up on Monday the 7th, pay their registration and join the fun! Tami |

Sam - Lethia and I probably will arrive in Austin on sunday evening,,,maybe very late??? If Sue is interested,,,maybe she and Lethia can 'clean and detail' the cats on monday during the day before the event starts on monday evening? You and I can supervise their work and be critical of any missed areas! Will be in touch if time allows on monday,,,,or will see you two at the hotel/resort. I know,,,you are staying at your daughter's place. AC |

CJ - WRONG!!! I just knew that post would pull you out to respond, Sue and Lethia will be worn out after the first wash and detail,,,,,,,and since we are cruising for several days, I'll call your room early every morning to get you up to detail your candy and my silver!!! CJ, you are the best washer and detailer out there,,,,,and I've always found the fee you charge (FREE) to be the best out there!!! PS - maybe I can get Lethia to clean your's and my wheels,,,,she accels in that area. Bob and I will be having breakfast while you gals get the cats ready each day. Sorry to the rest of you owners,,,,,CJ can only do two cats per day = her's and mine. |
