As others have posted - you mean there really is a "D"? I NEVER use drive, shifting is more fun.

I've been using the stick more lately...I like matching the RPM's IE: shifting from 3rd to 2nd at 40 MPH....helped braking and less brake dust on the fronts.

I also like keeping it in 3rd so there's more power on tap.

The only thing I don't like is the lag time between the shifter moving and the tranny actually doing what I told it to do....almost 1 second.

BT 161, you have ceramic pads and still have brake dust?

Hi Ed.....never did the ceramics. I just wipe every other day....(the wheels that is.. :D )

I was told that with miles already on the rotor, I would have to resurface for new pads, and They are only good for one turning...so I'm saving that one turn for later....LOL. I had a few mechanics tell me that....(do you agree?)

BT 161, I have no idea. I was under the impression if you put new pads on an old rotor the new pads would wear into the high and low spots and could "mar" the new pads. The difference is dramatic. I am going to go buy ceramic for the Candy today. That brake dust is bad on the chrome and paint, in my opinion.
