I agree that the side view is hip. I can't say the same about the rear. A solid window and blending the point of the boat tail to where there is a left and right corner to it may look better. And yes a Chrysler or plymouth badge to finish it off. If the window were larger and one piece, it could possibly latch and lift for access to the trunk area. It would have a baracuda kinda look then.

Like most - I like the side view. The rear view is too much Corvette. I would prefer an original fastback design with lines more like the the 60's Mopar's so it is kept in the Chrysler family.

Good idea having a fastback with more storage room.

Love the side view...should do something new to the back...
and why not add two helmet domes to the top to increase
head space...I have a friend who is 6'4" and would love
a prowler, but not with his head sticking through the
rag-top

or maybe do a T-Bar top....so if the sun comes out
I don't have to drive home and dump the top...

Love the split window look! Classic!! This top looks a lot better than the long hearst top.

Never cared for the M&L top.......always looked like a hearse to me. JMO

Don't like this either on a Prowler. If I wanted a 63 Split Window Corvette, I'd buy one. No way would I want a Prowler to look like a Corvette. As stated, there is nothing like a Prowler except a Prowler.

After seeing the rear view I would agree that we really do not have to be copying the Vette. The Prowler is much cooler than that. The hard top now offered is just fine.

I love the look of the '63- split window. I owned two. But, not on the prowler. I agree with others--- build a top that fits the prowler lines and possibly resembles the early Barracuda., or something totally different. Also, build it complete with its own necessary deck lid portion, so as not to cut or modify the original deck lid. It should be able to be bolted at the factory deck lid hinges, and possibly have a hinged lift up rear glass, for rear entry. (JMO)

Too much like a classic car accident at 12th and Vine where the Vette lost.....but I like the idea. I wonder what a Studebaker or Barracuda rear would look like.....hmmmmmm

Think it looks good, but a little to much like a vette in the back, besides I like driving with the top down, so I guess it is not for me. If you like it though "Go for it" it does show individual taste, and that is what it is all about.

I agree that the vette top is'nt the way to go, but the other versions are sharp. I can't forsee a bunch selling but a "one off" would be nice to see. The rag top that was designed is so perfect to me, that I perfer the looks of the top up, but love driving with it tucked away.

I love open air driving, but if the fast back design has hinged window(s) for access to storage and maybe T - tops, the extra storge might be enough space to leave the trailer home for some long distance events.

How about a new top with the window and back deck from the concept car Atlantic that is in CJ's off topic post?

Hey My car looks sweet with that top on it. The side panels are from TGF automotive. I think it looks pretty sweet with the fastback top.

Just wondering, how would you get into the back of it? Would you have to remove the soft top to make any practical use of the new rear space? And again, how would you get to it????
