Bob, thanks for the consideration you've always shown the Prowler owners. As we used to say in the service, there's always the 2% that don't get the word, so hang in there. I'd like to see if your offer would apply for a friend at my office. Her husband is shopping a Dodge Hemi pickup. I can check with her on Monday when they get back from vacation. I did get them an offer of $100.00 over invoice but this would be even a better deal. Let me know. Thanks again for all you and CJ do for the POA members. ------------------ |

Bob... since purchasing the Yeller Cat and having made your personal acquaintance along with the Family & Friends purchasing plan, we have purchased the following GREAT, FANTASTIC CHRYSLER vehicles... loving everyone of them... Jeep Wrangler Don't even think of parking in front of our home if it ain't a CHRYSLER. Again, THANK YOU Bob for everything you have done for our Family and many, many of the Prowler Owners too. Without people (Friends) like you, owing a Prowler just would not be the same. Remember, you meet the nicest people when you own a Prowler! As you can tell from the above inventory I don't need anything else, but Nancy has fallen in LOVE with the Pacificia so I will give you a call soon for the details for this all NEW and EXCITING promotion for your Friends. Sincerely, Jay |

Thanks for another generous offer Bob. I am hoping for a Hemi Durango soon, It does not look like we have a shot at it by the end of Oct. Please do not let one guys comment get you; I was personally offended at that myself. You know we have been very pleased with our Chryslers. Gordon |

I do apologize for the general remark, I really didn't mean it like that. It's just that I'm in the car business, and reletive to other makes I can buy and sell Chrysler products,(except trucks) for so little money it has become a joke. For instance, a mid '90's LHS, not a bad car really, with about a 120,000 miles on it and in excellent condition wholesaled (sold)for $425!!! the other day. There is NO WAY I could buy, for instance, a comparitive Bonneville for the same money. They really have so many problems(most Chrysler products) after 80K that no one wants them. I wasn't reffering above to anything classic as I've owned Hemi's myself for the fun of it. I am reffering to new cars and, of course, every newer model DOES get better but they are still way behind the curve. Again, my apology for the way to general a comment. JRL |

JRL good on you for stepping up to the plate with an apologie. As you can see we protect some people more than others, not because of what we can get from them, but because they have helped so many of us with any problem you can think of and it's done because they are just "THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE" unselfish, caring and giving. This one person in particular here I'm honored to call my Friend. PK |

Bob and CJ - Thanks for your continued support and in offering the 'Friends and Family' certificates. My brother and sister-in-law used the one you gave them to buy their first ever convertible, a Sebring LX. They love the car and it made their buying experience so much more pleasurable. I'm hoping that next year, the Crossfire will be included. ------------------ 27,000 miles of smiles

JRL, Thanks for the apology. Believe me, I know the problems that have occurred with DC's vehicles. I also know how far DC has come and that there's still work to be done. DC is not as far from the "curve" as people imagine. Last year DC was ahead of both GM and Ford. The target is to catch Toyota. The plan is in place to do just that. The issue of resale value is important. Values lag true gains in quality and reliability as does customer recognition. Incentives also hurt resale. What is the issue with your transmission at 3K? Other than an occasional bad sensor (from our suppliers), transmission failures have been associated with very aggressive driving coupled with increased power output like superchargers and/or nitrous. They tend to fail during a three - four shift at WOT. At 3K isn't your car still under warranty or is over on time? |

Dealer said my 3 to 4 clutch packs are shot. That shift takes forever, sometimes not at all,, and when it does shift it sort of just slips lazily into 4th unless I lift. There's a point around 70 to 85 @ 3/4+ throttle that I can be accelerating and the car doesn't go any faster. Engine is stock and I don't abuse it. Most of the time I just cruise around like a little old lady. I will have it checked by my local mechanic who's very good , but 1st, dealer is trying to get it done under warranty. ('99 out of time, obviously not milage.) JRL |
