I think this is a Great Idea! But... I thought you originally were talking about A Car badge that would go on the Grille Like POA Club Member , that would be cool. |

Well, if someone can give us some design ideas and everyone gives us an idea of what they might like, the store can pursue it. |

For those of you that have mentioned the Magnet means of securing the name tags, I would like to give my 2 cents worth. They are fine as long as you are wearing a shirt and can attach them to the pocket. But I find myself in tee shirts more often than not at car events. I've worn one on a tee shirt and it was really annoying. I wonder if any of the ladies out there have had experience with magnet attachments, I know my wife doesnt like them either. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.... I know at last year's Prowler Stampede, the name tags were on straps, just like at a Convention or the SEMA Show, that could be worn around the neck. Real comfortable. Once again, JMO. (Pic attached) This message has been edited by 1buddyc on 04-15-2005 at 12:30 AM |

I like Dan's proposal. I think there are a lot of names that won't fit in that setup though. Dan - I sent you a jpeg with some ideas. Let me know what you think. (could not get them posted |

I think this is a great idea and I really liked Dan's proposed badge. I'm ready when ever it can be done. Cost seems to be very reasonable and should be done through the POA store. |

I LIKE DAN'S PROPOSAL ALOT, AS FAR AS THE NAME GOES MAKE IT A TWO LINE ENTRY FOR LONGER NAMES. FIRST NAME 1ST LINE LAST NAME 2ND LINE. NO BIG DEAL. I THINK IT'S GREAT ESPECIALLY IF YOU CAN GET IT IN YOUR CARS COLORS TOO. THE WHOLE IDEA ABOUT NAME TAGS FOR IDENTIFICATION IS A GOOD IDEA. TOM |

dpena, I understand your point about fitting a long name on this style of badge. For what Auhnold has done (just in the past 6 months) to the California auto hobbiests, no one in their right mind would let him join anything, much less give him a badge. |
