I'm in for 2.

Can you please tell the process of how to submit pictures for consideration? Both individual and group shots?

Thanks.

I have not consulted with Larry on this yet, but this should be pretty close to accurate:

For 8x10's in the calendar... we will be looking for quality digital images that are at the very minimum 750 x 1000 pixels.

960 x 1280 and higher resolution images are definitely in the range to be considered for 8"x10" printing.

For images with fewer pixels, we can use those for smaller images displayed in various other places.

The 2002-2003 calendar featured about 17 large photos (8"x10" or slightly smaller) and over 80 smaller to photos (sized around 1"x1" to 4"x4").

Most images posted to this forum are suitable for printing the smaller images (less than 4"x4").

Feel free to email your photos to me or Larry, but preferrably, send it to both of us. The sooner the better. If you send something, send the original unsized, uncropped digital image, and send some information about the image (location or name of the event, date of photo, year/color of prowler(s), name of owner, names of folks in the picture, etc...).

I have provided this info to help improve your chances of getting a photo into the calendar.

If you have good weather and a scenic location, take out your digital camera, set the resolution to high, and take some photos! Be careful to consider background and take the same picture at more than one angle.

Damon.

Fixxum, dude,... This is a "Prowler" calendar.... That is "P" "r" "o" "w" "l" "e" "r"... "Prowler".

Put your viper in with some Prowlers, and get some pics that way.... and even then, no guarantees, but we might sneak in the silver snake!

Yo Larry,

Hope I'm not stepping on Pauley's toes here but a loose internet translation says he wants two.

Translation from Babblefish.com

Hey, that wave!! In truth me flavor your calendar of last year, especially the beauty of July, in truth has pretty eyes and some curves that ....... If you do a calendar for the year that enters, aim me with two.

Larry - I don't remember the resolution of the pictures I sent you last year. Do you still have them or do you need new ones?

Thanks!

Time to bring this back to the top...

Stay tuned... For those who are interested in the possibility of having your prowler in the calendar, I will be posting some details of what Larry and I are looking for and also some details about what we would need from you. I will be posting this information within the next few days...

Damon.

Definitely would like at least two (same as last year's order, Larry) and would be more than willing to submit a few pics as well!

One hangs on the wall at home, the other at the office!

Keeps the grin going 24/7...

So everyone will know........

YES i PLAN ON TRYING TO MAKE ANOTHER CALENDAR......I started this post to see how much interest there would be. I wanted to be able to make at least 100 calendar run, but really hoped for 200. I think we have at least 100 on here now.

I have tried to contact the guy that helped me do the last one and they are interested in doing it again. I will post more details in the next week on what we need. Damon has posted a good discription of what will be needed. (much more technical than I could do)

THANKS EVERYONE FOR RESPONDING
