Buyers want to steal them, sellers want to make a ton of profit selling a "limited" car, and dealers just wanting to get rid of floorplan.

97 was the first year and that year model has about 40 hp LESS then the other year models.

There was no 98 model (go figure). It went from 97 to 99 through 2002.

The ride, due to different shocks, changed for the better in 2000.

Bumpers prior to 2000 were grey and most wheels were flat grey. From year 2000 on, bumpers were black and wheels were chromed.

Don't be too impatient and if the one you really want is selling for too much, just look a little longer and you will find another (just like it) for considerably less.
