Randy, it started snowing here a couple of hours ago and it is mounting up pretty quickly. I think this is the real deal, the first good snow of the winter here. |

Even if the roads are "dry" there is a film of salt everywhere. This will go away in the spring only after a couple of HEAVY rains, so if you go out now you WILL get a film of salt under the Kat and it should by cleaned off right away. JRL |

I hear ya....Dry salt dust is visible on my mudflaps after just a short bit of driving. I have to route a hose from an inside faucet as the outside ones are frozen.... My only consolation is knowing that temperature is a factor in corrosion. The colder it is, the harder it is for corrosion to start. |
