GRROWL, I believe you may have hit the nail on the head.. It is very possible to happen as you describe.. The thing that caught my attention was that I could not get the lights off one night and I saw the bezel tilted in the hole.. It wouldn't take much to snap off one of the legs..

chromer: a cheap hot glue gun is about $2.99 There is one for about $8 that has 2 heat settings. The mini guns work just great. I think there are some problems with the car that one can say "Ah the heck with it...where's my glue gun?"

Alley Cat: Can we get some sort of AC approval on this switch bezel hot glue treatment?

GRROWL: Either way, you can bet I will be turning on the headlights with the utmost of care and pinky extended for optimum daintiness..

Hey All,
Check out this previous post 9/27/01. Do a search for "New prowler parts cheap". Part# PF81-LAZ Retails for $24.00,
my dealer will sell them for $17.00 with pre-paid ups shipping anywhere in the USA. "GRROWL" has used them many times. Just mention our club, the club discount is 30% off retail list price.

Later,
Steve

These guys are GRReat!!!

It may be of interest to look at a prior post that listed a spare-parts stock-up order:

Then on to Youngblood Chrysler, Nissan, Kia in Springfield, MO, and ordered:
2 pair front flaps
2 pair rear flaps
4 secondary top latches
1 set YELLOW floor mats
1 Prowler-head key
1 extra transmitter.

And, while I was at it,
1 PT Cruiser key
1 PT Cruiser transmitter.

Interesting points:
- They say everything is readily available, including the YELLOW mats (UPDATE - NO LONGER AVAILABLE).
- The key was $7.50, cut to GRROWL's serial number (they're selling on Ebay for $10 BLANK).
- I also asked them to check if the wheel center caps are covered under Chrysler extended warranty, if not, throw in two of those.

THESE ARE THE GUYS RECOMMENDED BY STEVE METSCHERS THAT GIVE A 30% discount on repair parts, no shipping chgs, no tax. I bought a bumper from them in February, and they are GRREAT (who says I always complain?).

Can't beat this deal:
LOW COST (mostly 30% off)
FREE call
FREE shipping
NO sales tax

and they're GRReat peoplw to work with!
