Heading to work and evidently lost consciousness for a few seconds. Swerved and struck an Astro van. I do not remember any impact nor even seeing the van. I do remember driving and seeing an air bag in my lap and smoke coming from my dashboard. I had no idea that I has struck another vehicle. I pulled over. I do not remember getting of the car just laying on the ground with a bunch of people surrounding me. I was taken to the hospital where the doctor said I had a concussion. The person in the van was not injured, thank God. Please everyone, where your safety belts. |

Scary pictures. Glad to see you are basically okay. You were fortunate you were not seriously injured. Hope everything is okay in the long run. |

WOW, glad you're OK. I have those "episodes" every now and then. So far none while in a position to cause harm to others. Possible epilepsy or hypoglycemic cause. In N.Y. you can drive as an epileptic, in N.J. it's a mandatory license revocation. I never frollowed up for the final diagnosis in case N.Y. adopted N.J.'s policy. ------------------ |

Sorry to hear another cat in accident. Glad to see you are OK and other driver too. Hope you find out what caused the lapse in time. Get the cat fixed and next year I will have to do another Prowlin in Indy and see if I can get more than 17 cats together ------------------ |

Hopefully the loss of memory right before the accident is a result of the concussion. A lot of times a hard hit to the head will result in loss of memory of what happened just before the blow. Marty |

I feel fine, was stiff. I just talked to the insurance company and they are totaling the car. They have already been offered $14000.00 for the car as it sits. The accident happened just outside Indy near Brownsburg. I have Sentry Insurance and they seem to be very concerned and are wanting to settle this issue with the car. I have not thought about what to do about a replacement yet. I want another Prowler. Thanks for all your well wishes. Will let you know how it turns out with the insurance company. |

Sorry to see, and hear of your accident. Glad you are ok, and that your insurance is already handling the situation properly.
If you want another, I know of a few decent deals. New Inca Gold: $32.9k |

Ron it was nice talking to you yesterday and like I told you and to anyone else that ever has a car totaled the insurance companys have a tendency to forget to include your sales tax! You had to pay it when you bought it and will need to pay it when you replace it ( $35,000 @ 7% = $2450 ). |
