I am 800 y.o. (feel like only 100 though).

Work only 1 day a year but, it's one heckuva day.

Been married forever, no kids but, plenty of little friends around that help with the work.

Well, gotta go check my list

Wow, what a great idea for a discussion topic! It's nice to learn a little about everyone.

As for me:

  • I just turned 41 years old
  • I'm married for almost 21 years to my high school sweetheart
  • no children, two pets: Pixie, a 12 year old Silky Terrier and Hannah a 10 month old miniature Schnauzer
  • Both my wife and I are Orlando natives and we live in Longwood, which is about twenty minutes North of Orlando
  • I am a 14-year employee of The Coca-Cola Company, more specifically the North America Fountain Division. I'm the regional contact aligned to thirteen of our bottling partners covering from Pensacola to St. Petersburg
  • My wife and I have enjoyed collecting old Coca-Cola memorabilia for 15 years
  • I've loved "hot rods" since I was a little kid and have had a variety of different "fun" cars over the years, the Prowler is far and away the coolest!

Thanks to all for a great site!

Bill

I'm a computer programmer. I'm 48 and live in the mountains outside of Spanish Fork, Utah.

I married 29 years to my high school sweetheart (we just went to our 30th high school re-union.) We have two kids, both grown and gone.

I'm 48 and even though I've traveled a lot, I've always lived in NC. We have 4 seasons and the beach is 3 hrs away and the mountains 2 hrs, plus great college basketball with NFL & NHL clubs 1.5 hrs away.
I've always been in the oil business (25 years). I'm VP/GM and minority owner of an Exxon, Citgo and BP distributorship that services NC & VA. We also distribute fuel oil, propane and motor oil.
I've been married to the same understanding gal for 22 years and we have 2 fantastic kids. A ten year old boy (Logan), who's a sports freak like his dad and a 5 year old girl (Madison), who's a spoiled Princess like her mom. Why have a lady in your life if you can't spoil 'em! I know you are questioning my math being 48, married for 22 years and having a 5 year old, but it is true. We couldn't have kids, but were blessed with two fantastic ones though adoption.
I love building my business, attending sports events, attending our kids sports events and funtions, giving back to my community and cruising in my "yeller" Kat just after daybreak.

My wife and I live near Indianapolis in a small town called Pittsboro. We have 4 grown girls, 10 grandchildren, and 1 brand new great grandchild. We also have a big sissy German Shepard, Cocker Spaniel, and an English Bulldog that is something else.

We own two businesses, one is an Oracle consulting/training company and the other is for authoring and publishing technical books. Our offices/training labs are located in Indianapolis in the Pyramids.

Hey all - I'm 37, married for 7 years and have The 2 best kids

James Jr who will turn 6 shortly and
Mattina Grace who just turned 4

I am currently unemployed, got laid off 2 days after 9/11 - But before that I sold and fixed computers. I also rent out a few places. I'm trying to decide what I want to do when I get older, but have enjoyed so much hanging out with my kids over the last year. But sometimes miss working.

My wife and I are thinking about leaving our small town of Milltown, NJ and retiring down to Florida.

I never had a nice car before, so I decided to get the Prowler and sold some stocks to get it(Smart Move). Enjoy driving every mile. Best purchase I ever made.

Bob is an executive at DaimlerChrysler (via AMC and Chrysler). We've moved 11 times and I've had many jobs. Retired 4 years ago from the Motorsports company that I was working for and now just enjoying life....particularly my husband, kids, grandkids, my Prowlers and the cottage!!!!

I have two beautiful Singapuras (cats) named Julius and Caesar and a live-in British cat named Kalkie (my son's). Also have one ferret named Toby (he's from Manitoba). He's the last remaining one from the group of 8 that I had.

I am 49 years old & married to Rebecca for almost eight years. She has 32 year old son Eric and 7 year old Granson Austin. I have 20 Year old son Ryan who attends college on scholarship so I can use tuition money on Prowler and 17 Year old daughter Lindsay who faithfully takes the KAT to Car events when I am out of town.

I have been a Convention Contractor for over 25 years - our firm sets up trade shows in most major convention cities. Reba is a financial advisor and advises me I have reached my limit on the number of engine rebuilds I am alotted.

Yellow Fever - this is a great thread. Something similar has been done in past and it is nice to get to know more about the more recent members and updates on the others. In the time I have been out of town for almost 3 weeks and not spending much time on the site I have noted you have started a LOT of topics. If this one doesn't win you a shirt/hat and you really need one, I'll try to get one to you. I don't think I have enough time to read and catch up on all your topics, much less all the others.

35...married to Purplecat for 13 years...one child age 10. Gearhead all my life...step-dad owned an auto repair shop and I was changing oil, fixing brakes and charging air conditioners on cars before I was old enough to drive them.

Live in rural SoCal (as rural as SoCal can get anyway). Presently about 40% of the way through my midlife crisis ( I plan to be dead at 70). I drive too fast to worry about cholesterol.

Have been working as a regulatory manager/engineer for computer/telecom/datacom companies. I'm the guy who takes care of all the UL safety and FCC radio-interferance stuff you see on the labels...learned it OJT after the navy from a great boss who is now retired and I miss alot...Bored with it all now but it pays good.
Seeking new opportunities...hope to buy or start a business but have not found the right opportunity...been thinking about a towing company, or tune-up and smog place. Maybe I'll just give all my money to Todd to help open "the world's largest harley dealership."

I'm 29 (and plan to be for the next 8 years) and been married to my husband Robert for 7 years. We own a custom pinstriping company in Houston (vinyl pinstripes suck!!!) with two employees other than my supremely talented "Legend of Pinstriping" husband Robert, and an online company that sells pinstriping supplies and (coming soon) custom panels from other great pinstripers. No kids, two incredibly annoying Jack Russel Terriers and not nearly enough garage space for the 99' Purple Prowler, 02' Corvette convertible, 00' Honda Insight (don't laugh it has the coolest paint job and nitrous, it rocks!) and 2 63'Lincoln Continentals, convertible and sedan and a constantly revolving number of motorcycles. Rob has ordered himself a Chevy SSR, but I am on the list for a Viper truck so we shall see who wins there! We are fixing to build a house in Pearland, close enough to Teri to throw a rock at her house!
