At 30% off (no shipping, no tax, no add-ons) I suggest stocking up on mudflaps, mats, secondary catches, keys, transmitters, WHEEL CENTER CAPS, etc.

GRROWL, thanks for looking out for us. Based upon this thread I'm going to order a couple of sets.

Is this as common a problem as it appears to by based upon the high number posts?

Is this a part I should keep on hand for insurance like the tranny sensors?

Thanks for the advice!

If you have the gray ones, buy the insurance. The newer design is black and seems far more durable. See:

Then again, don't look at it as insurance, look at it as an investment - the one on the above Ebay listing sold for $21.01 plus shipping. That's better than an 800% immediate return - just imagine, what will the return be after they're out of production?

Must be different list prices across the country?????
I saw the list price of $5.95 and paid $4.00/each.
So I am confused too on why so many different prices!

The reason for different Prices is some dealers charge a stocking fee. For Example The list price is $3.70 + 25% dealer stocking fee = $4.63.

DO NOT pay more than $3.70 for the part or you are getting ripped Off,
