Nahh, Ray............there was only purple and yellow available at that time!

WOW..........sounds like a pain to be tall! More reasons to be glad I'm short. Have to adjust the seat UP and I actually need my sun visors...........they work great for deflecting the air flow right over my head! Don't have to worry about my air much!! 'Course I know Ed doesn't have to worry about his either!

But that is a metric 6' 5". lol

You can take off the sun visors (useless item) and you'll be able to see the traffic lights.

The sunvisors make no difference looking at the lights, unless the top is down. Then you need to lower them a little and look over them. With the top up you have to bend forward and look up unless you stop a few car lengths back from the light.

Adam,
Don't let your size keep you out of a Prowler.
I'm a "knuckle-dagger" as MeanGene describes those of us who are not size-challenged. I'm 6'5", 240 lbs., with 38" sleeves (x jock) and I fit fine with some minor adjustments. I agree with Ed in that you can fit if you want to and comfort is subjective.

Some of my observations:
Seat - Adjust all the way back and all the way down.
Seat comfort - I got a lumbar back support pillow that I use on drives over 45 minutes. This takes away about 2 inches of legroom, but is very comfortable. A couple of the bigger guys told me they use a 1" piece of foam rubber.
Headroom - My head does not brush the top. I have about an inche to spare.
Visors - Taking them off has the tradeoff of better vision at stop lights vs. windburn. I prefer keeping the visors and turning them up to deflect the wind. With the top down I have learned to sight a stop light through an opening between the windshield frame and the bottom of the upturned visor.
Legroom - I seem to have plenty. It would be tough to shift if the car was a straight drive, but the automatic/auto stick combination takes care of that.

My daily driver is a Tahoe and of course has more room, but it is not near the pleasure to drive as my yellow Kat. With your daily being a Miata, you should have no problem.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I think fitting into a prowler will be just a matter of will-power. I defintaley have enough of that. I hopefully will be test fitting one this weekend, and then shortly after that (if all goes well with the fitting) test fitting one of my very own.

Thanks again.
