Always, now that I have my Mopar/Borla exhaust - before that, hardly ever. |

I use it every time I take the car out. The automatic mode tends to shift at too low a speed for the lock up converter use. I feel the engine is lugging. Too slow a speed for the RPM. I shift up and down to keep the R-ssss right. Also, I have the SSS Muffler from Jay Harris of Florida and boy do I love the sound with the shifting. Lugging a motor is at least as hard if not harder on an engine than high RPMs. Roy Olcott. |

quote: If you do a search you will find that auto stick has been discussed 99 different times in some form. The first one was by Dave Ridge on 8-5-00, who asked which way do you generally drive, D or autostick. It will be pretty hard to come up with a totally new topic but since there are a lot of newer people, it is a new subject to them. |

I use autostick almost all the time, usually to have more control in keeping the engine in the torque band while driving around town. On the highway, I mostly leave it in drive. ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 |
