The automatic mode tends to shift at too low a speed for the lock up converter use. I feel the engine is lugging. Too slow a speed for the RPM. I shift up and down to keep the R-ssss right. Also, I have the SSS Muffler from Jay Harris of Florida and boy do I love the sound with the shifting. Lugging a motor is at least as hard if not harder on an engine than high RPMs. Roy Olcott.

The first one was by Dave Ridge on 8-5-00, who asked which way do you generally drive, D or autostick.
