My car has been used a couple of times for parades, I made a wood box 12 inchs wide and 18 inchs tall put some 1 inch thick foam on it and wraped it in a black towel it sits in the seat they sit on it and can hang onto the windshield frame. Of corse to come up with this idea I first used and empty case of beer bottles. So if anyone just wants to buy a case of beer for them to sit on I am sure we can find enough people to help drink them so they dont go to waste.

There's an idea - let's get a bunch of 12 year olds drunk before they wave to the crowds

No way Marty. We'll sit in the passenger seat and drink the beer. We'll let the 12 year olds drive!

I am sure that many spouses like mine, would also like to ride in the parade. Hence the need for a place for the honory passenger.

I agree with that Rich. I am still waiting for this KDF person to call back. I guess we are not high on his priority list.

Well since they are only small kids I guess I could come up with a seat that slides into the trailer hitch ( with a seat belt ). Or the guys with trailers can pop the lids off and we can put them in there? I know I am taking the main focus away from this post.

Great idea and it works too!!! In fact I tried it last night... It took me a little creative bending of my 6'1" frame with 54" shoulders, but I finally got in... Plenty of support & it is very comfortable. The only problem is my size 12 feet are under the seat & well... I'M STILL STUCK!!! Can somebody please come get me out of my garage!!! I have been yelling & honking the horn, but none of my neighbors have heard me... Oh wait, I forgot. I have a cell phone. Ugh, The battery is dead!!! HELP

Battery is dead on the cell phone... Tried untying shoes, but did not work. Luckily the local pizzeria takes orders by email... The delivery guy said that I could pay him next time since the wallet was in the house & obviously could not get to it... Hey CJ You can sleep here pretty comfortably too... Still need to get out though... Nature calls! Damn - I hope I don't ever lock myself in the trailer
