Sunday July 14, 2002 my wife and I went to Thegrand Teton and Yellowstone Nat. Park when we got to Fishing Bridge we desired to go to Cody, WY to see Buffalo Bill Museum, after we got out the Park at East Entrance, I though speed limit is 65 MPH the road are nice curve and fun to drive, I have my V-1 on cruise my Kat at 75-85 MPH to try out my lower and upper braces they are great with those curves, suddenly my V-1 gave me a warning I just slow down to 64 MPH, I saw Wyoming HWY Patrol made a U-turn and turn on his flashing light, I did pulled over along the side of the road, he stop behind us walk over asked me for the driver license insurance, certificated and car registration I handed them to him and asked him what going on? He reply politely I have gone 14 miles over speed limits so I did not say anything much except thinking how much my insurance will be increase next year because my wife already have two tickets on her car.

The officer came back hand me a slip and told me " YOU HAVE A NICE CAR I NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE, I WILL GIVE YOU A WARNING AT THIS TIME AND REMIND ME SPEED LIMIT AT THIS SECTIONS IS 50 MPH" I just thanks him and took off.

Am I qualify for GGG?

VCD,

Too bad you were not around when my site PROWLEREXCITEMENT.COM was around. I had many more stories like that. Well, not stories but true stories.

I went into work very early one day... It was like 6am - back last February, just a few weeks after I got my Cat.

There was a policeman behind me. I turned into my work parking lot. He started driving by, but then he did a U-turn in the middle of the intersection and followed me into the parking lot.

I knew I hadn't done anything, but I was worried that he might notice that I didn't have a front license plate. Of course, as you are guessing, he just had to get a closer look at the Prowler...lol... He said that anytime I want to trade vehicles, just let him know. I think he would have let me take the patrol car...lol...

All in the life of a Cat owner....

None in 11 years. The local PD all just wave when we go by in the kat. Ken was thrilled when I got my first ticket though after we were married. I had 27 warnings and finally got a ticket. He actually applauded the officer. I'm still not quite sure how to take his reaction! Tami

The question is, though... Have you gotten a moving violation while driving the Prowler??

I never have citation since 1995 and will try not to.

In 1995 we had a Lexus LS400, my wife and my daughter had drove to USMA West Point NY for the older daughter graduation, on one of the interstate in Iowa while I was cruised at 115 mph, my Escort went off I stepped on the brake after I passed the patrol car I though I was safe because he did not turn on his light until I saw another patrol car made a u-turn and both have turn on the lights I did pulled over the side of the interstate all four office came over told us get out of the car stayed off at the side of the interstate, one stayed with me other three went to my car look inside and the trunk then all of them came over to me asked me for the driver license, gave me a citation for speeding 95 mph on 75 mph, I for got to removed my Escort out from the windshield one of the officer came over and told me that "my foot is not fast at his radar gun and it doesn't matter how fast you can go to 95 mph, it is how fast you can get back to 75 mph" and the reason we have to get out of or car because there was a robberies at gas statation 10 minutes ago, my car color was the same as a get away car.

I never get and citation after that day and be a careful driver since.

When I got my new KAT both of my daughters gave me this license plate frame to reminding me not to speeding on my KAT.

We are planning to drive our KAT Austin TX on Aug 4 to see our daughter, again we don't have a trailer yet so we may have to use another car.

No tickets and never been pulled over in the Prowler.
4700 miles

I have spun a 360 on a main street in the Prowler (by mistake)...smoke from the tires was everywhere. I didn't hit anything (very lucky). Just thought to myself...no curbs, no cars, no cops....get the heck out of here.

Alex "By Mistake" really? it takes an awhful heavy foot and a tight turn to do that I had the same thing happen to me "by mistake" except there was a light and lots of traffic coming at me as I came around from my 360 heading straight at them, had to crank it around again and smoke the tires and take off before I got caught.
PS it was on dry road when this happened to me.

Virginia Cat Dude: No tickets, no warnings in 22 plus months
and 8100 miles. I did experience a cop by a traffic light
writing a ticket to a car pulled over to the side. He saw
my car, interruped his ticket writing procedure, raised his
Sunglasses and commented about my beautiful car, then resumed his ticket writing procedure.

VCD - NVRMND must have stolen my car while I was at work. Never can find a cop when you need one.

I promise I'll put my own avatar on instead of the "stock" one.

But thanks for noticing!

VCD: Hi, no actually #28 was 24 years ago, but there was no way for you to know that. We won't go into how many were in between. LOL I've been good for a very long time though. Bought the kat in February 2002, so haven't had it that long. Seem to watch my speed more when driving that though. Tami
