Howler Cat,

I didn't feel bad now, my wife is the same she, took a ride with me one time and said no more because this car is uncomfortable, hard to get in and out not like her CLK 320 Cabrio. One more thing on her comment is, we are too old for this kind of car, I didn't say much but I am glad she did not want to drive so I can enjoy some of the weekends drive by myself.

Actually, it's been sort of backwords for me. I started buying toys(cars) when I was eighteen and haven't stopped. I've started to slow down now as I've had some health issues but at least I was lucky to have the cars when I was young healthy and obnoxious. I'm not young or healthy anymore

i think the fact that it wasnt mentioned IS a good thing! that way it keeps the car more in the shadows, and gives it more of a "WOW!" factor when somebody sees one driving down the road.. i got my pt cruiser when they were rare, but now everyone has one since it was advertised all over the place, so now its lost its appeal( another reason i got rid of it)

The Prowler does not have to do with status, showing off how much money you have (having money does help getting the Kat & mods you just have to have) or having neat stuff to play with. It means having a passion for cars, especially American, quick accelerating, customized street rods. The car has to look like it can blast off when the light turns green. It has to be clean, low, and wild with no purposeless decoration. It is definitely a personal thing. Practicality doesn't count, although the gas mileage of a stock Prowler is decent. The essence of car--the vehicle we imagine in our heads and love with a passion--is the Prowler. Like we say, "Either you get it or you don't."

Don't know about where you live but down here I think the Prowler has to be the least addvertised vehicle I have ever seen, from the start. I still have people ask me if I built it. If the public still doesn't all know about the prowler maybe the writer of that article hasn't even seen one. JM2CENTS

CJ,
I always felt that USA Noway is filled with too many pictures and colorful graphs & it is still only a few pages thick... It is sort of like a term paper you write in High School where you have to fill 16 pages so you add ridiculous graphs and meaningless pictures just to make the basic requirements... I can't take a newspaper seriously who bases it's format off of a Denny's menu... I guess the reporter is driving a beat up Datsun from the 70's...

Well, I get the USA Today because I don't have time to read a bigger newspaper. Besides I can get the depressing news in this world in a nutshell rather than having to read 100 pages of it! And heck.....I just need to know the Red Wing scores and Bronco scores anyway!
