My quandry...do I paint my red trailer to match the '02 Candy or count on DC re-authorizing another batch and order a factory Candy. I was ready to sell the trailer and buy a Candy and come out about the same cash outlay but since they cancelled them, no way am I selling. If they don't do another run, a new Candy paint job will take care of the mismatch. So, CJ, if they do another run, I'm probably going to order one but someone will probably get my red used. In effect, however, my new demand will offset someone else's need for a red,'cause they'll get mine. Net gain = one for me, none for the person that buys mine. |

CJ, I ordered one and is still on order but my dealer doesn't know if they will build anymore. I paid in advance for mine and the dealer tells me I am number 3 of 58 on order. One would think with 58 firm orders that Mopar would build at least 100. If you take a count, I would think a hundred would be easy. PAULI don't think they could ever paint your trailer to match the candy red cat...therefore....you could sell it to me. I won't mind if the purple doesn't quite match my cat. Afterall, I'm pulling around white u-hauls whats a off color purple gona matter. What you think????  ------------------ |

I have put in a call to see if I can get an update on the trailers.........will let you know as soon as I hear something. Gene, if your order was a confirmed order and part of the remaining numbers of trailers to be built before they were out of parts, there is no reason why it shouldn't be built. |

ONAPRWL, I got a call from my a dealer today about my trailer: He said there are some trailer in stock not a yellow, he is trying to locate one of the yellow trailer to match my car I already gave him a deposit. You may call and ask them if they can get one other color for you. Name of the dealer is 20th. Century Ford, Plymouth & Chrysler in Blackfoot, Idaho ph: (208) 785-1900 ask for part dept. |

I spoke with my contact at Mopar today and he told me that they are still working on the financial end of producing additional trailers. It sounded like they have been watching the board and reading the responses of those who are still interested in purchasing a Prowler trailer. I also told him that I have received several emails from owners who don't necessarily post, that are also interested in a trailer. He can't, of course, can't give us a final answer until all research is completed, but he did indicate that it was looking pretty good!! Keep your fingers crossed!! |

CJ - what about those other Mopar Prowler goodies that were also to be made and available around July 8th?? I ordered some items in June, and haven't heard a word yet. |

It is my understanding that the Parts Depots have received inventory and that dealers have been receiving their orders. Perhaps you should check with your dealer about your order and in turn, he should be re-confirming the order with the Parts Depot. If I remember correctly, there were several people who posted on the board that they had recently purchased some of these items from their dealers. |

CJ - I just checked my asnwering machine, DA, and the dealer parts guy left a message: two of the five items I ordered have arrived,,,,,others still on back order. I guess the wheels are turning and I will wait for the rest to arrive. Thanks |

I went to pickup my car cover, Bra, rear splash guard and receiver hitch today will put bra on tomorrow and take my KAT to the car show here in Pocatello if it not raining. I also got a good news about my trailer, the part person told me my trailer will be deliver in 2-3 week. He explain to me the trailer are the third party, DC was sub-contract out to other MFG to make. |

Talk to part department today, he said there are 67 trailers on the DC list, DC want more order from the dealers so they can start make them again. Any one thinking to get one please call your DC dealer put your name on the list if your DC dealer did not want to work with you, you may call Kevin @ 20th Century Ford and Chrysler at 208-785-1900, he will put your name on the list, you don't have to take it if you do not want when the trailer is made and will be no deposit either. |
