quote: Cousin AC - Oh I know - 2004 - LONG ways off, just a thought. Well, we know several of the local PD, so we could probably make sure that some won't be arrested and worked in criminal law for quite some time so that's not scaring me, I work for one of the largest corporate law firms in the U.S. now, so guess that is taken care of and my brother is a builder/agent, so that's covered. Keep 'em coming - I might be able to take care of this yet! Not scaring me yet buddy. LOL, CT

Cousin Tami - NOT trying to scare you, just letting you know this is a rough crowd to contend with. We wouldn't want to invade the ranch under false pretentions. Do you have 1/8th mile of straight line asphalt we can race and lay rubber on? You have contacts with local PD? Great! We can have Fixumm put behind bars while the event carries on,,,,,,,, |

Coz: Thanks for the heads up. By 2004 we should have the driveway done, but it has alot of twists and turns, so no good for a straight away - we know some places though! Local PD heck, I was planning on having Fix picked up as soon as he crossed the border into Texas!! Tami ------------------ 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition |

quote: LOL! Generally in Texas as you know, we drag them for awhile behind our horses - of which we have three. I'll make sure and get our 3 year old black stallion out for this one - he's really fast and loves to cut quick around trees. Ouch!!! Then, we'll string him up (on second thought though Fixumm seems a little on the strange side and might enjoy that) - CJ, we might need some input on what needs to be done next to him!! ------------------ 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition |

Texas, Canada, California, or Tennessee all sound good. We're spread out all over and trying to meet somewhere in the middle every year would get boring. Lets rotate and see the country. Whether a short trip or a long one, the kick is getting together. The question about Texas is can we really trust Alley Cat? ------------------ |

Donny, Donny - I'm just the Don King promotions here,,,,,not the actual event organizer. I think we can trust my cousin Tami Fischer to hold any funds collected in advance. Dallas area - many cats to organize events Houston area - ditto San Anton area - ditto This will be an easy one to organize. Lots to do and see. Besides, who would want to miss seeing the Krehel Prowler Museum??? I vote Pauley to be the main Texas state director of events, with subordinates coordinating with him. If he doesn't want the title, I'm sure Fred H. will help us out! |

The museum will truly be a site by then, ready for visitors. In about 3 or 4 months there will be alot of progress. Mike's got 4 cameras wired and once we can pull the cars in there, in about 2 months and start laying out the posters and memorabilia, it just going to be Prowler fun!! It's at least one to two months from completion. Once the HV Blue found his home in Texas, we had to put a sprinkler system into the showroom. We must protect all of the Cats! So a 4 week delay right there. Good things take time! We will have a open garage day, so keep your calendar open for Texas!! We hope Fred will help with this event! ------------------ This message has been edited by JKrehel on 06-18-2002 at 01:17 AM |

AC - as usual, most miss the intent, the location is not half as important as the company of Kats and their owners. I must admit any chance to go to Mecca (Mike's garage)is high on my list, I need parts anyway. The "East Coast Posse" is ready to rumble and rattle to Texas. ------------------ |

A vote for Canada opens a lot of possibilities. Canada has more land mass than the US so we haven't narrowed it down to much. The west coast is spectacular and the Canadian Rockies are, in my humble opinion, more rugged and scenic than in Colorado, but the rockies have been done. Central Canada is like Montana, flat land and big sky - PASS. Southwestern/Central Ontario is close to a lot of people and includes Niagara Falls, Wine Country, Toronto, and the Niagara Escarpment (good cruising roads). Quebec (Montreal/Quebec City) is a little further for most people but is VERY European. Montreal is very cosmopolitan and active whereas Quebec City is very historic. The East Coast is very scenic, good cruising but is a LONG way for most people. What is the consensus - if there was a Canadian Prowler Event in 04 or 05, where would you like it. ------------------ |
