Being a Prowler owner and if you had a chance to live anywhere, where would it be and why? I would pick Colorado. Snowboarding in the winter & Prowlin in the summer. And I could do the Rockies event. Gosh, I feel like I'm at the end of the world down here in Florida> ------------------ |

Though New Jersey seldom wins popularity votes on places to live, I really like it here. We're close to the shore (great for cruising) and to NYC and Philadelphia for nightlife, sports, etc. We're far enough removed from both so as not to suffer from the traffic. While we have a change of seasons here, which I love; we don't have unbearable temperature extremes nor do we have the weather catastrophies as some states do. I would love to visit Colorado...and Florida, too; but I'm always happy to come home. So, I wouldn't change anything even if I could. ------------------ |

I guess I would pick Oregon. Close to the shore line, has it mountains and deserts called the platts. Doesn't get a lot of snow and look beautiful. But no matter where I would live I still need much more money so I can just keep prowlen around and not have to worry about how much vacation time I've got to do the things I want to do. Oh, well back to work.. BUMMER!! ------------------ |

Maybe Northern California or Durango, Colorado. We went to Durango with the Dodge Durango Club a few years ago and it was beautiful there (they will be back there the end of this month). I know lots of places I don't want to live ------------------ |

Like I said....LA I'm 2 miles from a national forrest, safest area of the 6th safest city in the US, surrounded by people who actually have money (unlike myself), days of cruising just outside my doorway, sun most of the year, ocean mountains, surfing, sking, whatever you want, and close to one of the largest city's in the USA (30 mins from Hollywood) ------------------ |

This is so easy...... I have lived in Southern California (La Crescenta) and Northern California (East Bay) and Hawaii (Village Park, by Pearl City) and now in Sparks Nevada. EASY ANSWER is Sparks Nevada. Has Hawaii sunsets (High Desert Country) Has Lake Tahoe, Has Sierra Mountains and best of all it has Hot August Nights, the premier car show in the US. Take a drive down downtown Virginia Street in Reno with your Prowler and you will understand......Better than Hawaii!!! Kimo.... ------------------ |

Wow.... Tough question..... I travel all over and have lived in Dallas Texas and Kettering Ohio..... I loved Texas and still love going back. Texas is a very special place indeed. Kettering OH - 6000 Sq foot home right off the Golf course for under 300K, Great Schools, Beautiful Springs (lots of Rain) wonderful Fall nights (OK, I know Hot August Nights is cool)and more importantly - So close to so much.... I can be in Indy in 2 hours, Detroit in 3 1/2, Chicago in 5, St. Louis in 5.5, Pittsburgh in 3.5, Cleveland in 3, Cincinnati in 45 minutes, Louisville in 2.5 and the list goes on..... I know it ain't California but each of those cities has so much to offer.... And a great place to raise kids. You want to talk Cars ? I know many Cities/States have great car shows etc, but for me, The Mid West is it. Too many car shows and car events to even mention - Woodward, Auburn and that list goes on forever. John

quote: That is a good reason to move.....LOL I have lived in central Indiana all my life. I don't know where else I would live. I think maybe Tennessee. Mountains, Lakes and not that far from places I would like to go. But I have never been out west so until then guess I have to stay undecided, unless job forces move, then I will go where ever the money is. ------------------ |

Every place that's mentioned Is fabulous, it's true, Because each dream is special, Filled with memories for me and you. Reading all those places, Colorado college, And tho' I've had my '99 The helpful tips and answers, To all the help that's come my way, My searching still continues, But as for searching dreamlands, But if YOU still are looking, Sonoma County is the place, Majestic redwood forests, So as you think about that place And wherever you decide to 'park' Happy Cruz'n POA!

Now that I'm older and not in need of a night life anymore, I might move to Monterey, Carmel, or Carmel Valley, Ca. area. If I had the money, Pebble Beach. The weather's cool not humid and it's just beautiful there. JRL |

Sorry about the double entry...I am still learning how to use the POA discussion board tool set... p.s. Of course, don't they say "Anything worth saying is worth saying twice"...? p.p.s. Found it! Robert Frost said "Everything worth saying has its own particular way, its own inevitable way, of being said". (See it? See how he said it twice with the particular way thing and then the inevitable way thing??!!) Ok, I'm out of here... ------------------ |
