As a divorced Parent, I have custody during that time. I live my life for my daughters happiness. Although she loves EVERTHING her "Daddy" loves, I just dont know if a week of "Prowling" will bring her as much joy as it does me. Her having been "Lil Miss Prowleronline" previously, she might like it? However, I am thinking we may cancel due to the event being mainly adults and not children. I really want to go and have been looking forward to it for months. My mind will be there with everyone if we choose not to attend. I think maybe we probably ought to spend the time doing the 9 yo thing? My point being.......What sites, activities, entertainment is there for us in Colorado? She wants to Ski but that will be out I know. Please help me in deciding............

Things a young girl or boy would like to see and do in Colorado:

Colo Sprgs - Garden of the Gods, Pikes' Peak, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, AF Academy

Pueblo - Royal Gorge

Estes Park - National Park, horseback riding, go-karts, bumper cars and boats, tram rides, hiking, novelty shops, arcade stores

Denver - anything you can think of

This is not a boring place to take younger ones

Hope this helps you decide

How about Six Flags Eliche Gardens. (Major Ammusement ,Rollor coaster park)in Denver only 15 min. away also tour of Coors field, maybe catch a game. There is a Vans skate park within walking distance of the Westin hotel, also 3 ice rinks 100 yards from the hotel. Lots to do with kids here....You gotta come on out!

Kozican, she would really enjoy the show at the Flying W. If she likes scenery she will like a lot of the trip. I think as long as you spend some time with just her, each day, she would like it, overall.

Don - I thought we needed a "Little Miss Cruisin' the Rockies" anyway!! Like someone else posted the Six Flags in Denver is fun; there are several museum, the scenery in the mountains is wonderful - remember, you do not have mountains in Texas. Up in the ski areas you can rent bikes, etc.

Just some ideas. Besides she can make tips cleaning cars.

My 11 year old nephew went to Crazy Horse with us last year. He's a boy - but I don't think that would have mattered. I'm certain he had a good time. I thnk others on this site would tend to agree. There's nothing more fun than cruisin' in a prowler by day and hanging out with the best bunch of folks anywhere by night. JMO.

I promise she won't get bored unless she just follows Ed and Larry S. around all day. There are several alpine slides (like a bobsled track) around, one in Morrison with a small amusement park and one in Breckenridge. If she likes baseball I could probably arrange some tickets for a Rockies game. With this group she will think she just spent four days at an amusement park.

Jesse got his first motorcycle ride (to the car wash) from me, along with his first beer. He was so impressed he gave me a hairbrush without bristles and spent countless hours harassing me in Deadwood. Just to set the record straight. Jesse is the nephew of Steve Clark from Dublin, OH, and his parents thought he would be bored to death. I think he had a great trip. We did make sure he was not around Sasquatch, however. lol

Don, from seeing Malerie at other events, she loves doing just about anything as long as it is with DAD!! Stop worrying, she'll have a blast because she is with her father! Thats a fact Jack!

Besides out there we wouldn't be adults, we'll be the kids we all are inside!!

OK, Malerie, drag Dad along with you...
