Ed --

Glad you saw the smiley face and realized I was just kidding. I was only having a little fun with Roy's nonsequitur posting. I don't even have Corvette Flag Holders!

But if I had to put my finger on my "worst accessory", I'd have to say it would be the spare tire.

I agree with those who listed the Air Patrol. I bought one for my Silver, looked good, didn't work at all..never even thought about painting it to match my Mulholland..would have been throwing more money away..

Ed,

Small world- Had Rick at the Chrysler dealership where you almost bought your prowler (he told me he couldn't find you one at the time) tell me this week that he knew you. I'm in Dayton. We'll have to hook up when I finally find a car. Take care......

John, there are two Ricks at Wullenweber's but I have known both of them for years. The shorter of the two Ricks and I went to high school together. The other Rick I have known only about 30 years. He is the sales manager and actually helped me locate my cat in Indiana, 3 years ago. I had run into him at the car show in Cincy and was looking for the new T Bird and new Corvette and they did not have either one at the show. He told me to look at the Prowler and I told him I was not paying $80,000 for a car. He told me they were then available for about 50K, and he got me a list of dealers that had a Red one (THE BEST COLOR) and I found one for 45K. They got a Red one about a month later. Back then no one knew when they were getting a Prowler or what color they would get.
See you in Louisville May 17 - 19th, even if you don't get a cat, you ought to show up to see what fun you have been missing and see what everyone has done to their cars so you have some idea what you want to do.

Ed,

I believe it's the taller Rick - I work with his wife in Union Center. Great guy with good advice. I think youridea about Louisville is great. I'll have to check with the wife to see what's going on. If I were a Bettin' man, I bet I'll have one prior to the event.... Hope so.

John

PS. Red is Beautiful. Love it. Just looking for one that is new and has the 7/100......

John, that would be Rick P. He was just diagnosed with colon cancer about 5 or 6 weeks ago. Both of them are very nice guys. I sure hope you can join us, especially if you have your cat by then.
