Denver told me Tuesday he had 20 on order from DC and they should be in at the end of the week. Evidently, 15 of the pOA members bought right away after I posted this originally and they sold out on Monday. ------------------ |

For what it's worth... The SSS Muffler cost $399 delivered via UPS. The SSS delivery is much quicker... changes daily with demand, but currently (5 April 2002) only 3 weeks wait @ current production levels... these are subject to change to accommodate market demands. Any questions, just give me a call @ 800 669 3540 or stay tuned to www.prowleronline.com for continuing comments from the excited SSS-Prowler Owners. ------------------ |

Denver was going to email me the UPS tracking number when my stuff shipped. I haven't heard from him yet and it's the end of the week. I'll be calling him for an update later today. I'll keep ya'all posted. ------------------ |

Steve, hopefully he'll ship your's out today, the thing I don't like is for vendors ( dealers ) to charge the card before there ready to ship. I had a problem with one vendor charging my card and he didn't ship for four weeks, I learned then to ask if they had the item in stock and if not to let me know when so I could order it once they did. Good luck. |

The latest.... Talked to Denver today and he confirmed Todd's statement, he had not received a shipment yet. Called some friends to check into inventories. The exhaust system is currently on national backorder, no dealers have inventory and there is no ship date on file. There are 17 systems on order by various dealer across the country. No one can say when stock will come available. Denver charged my card on Monday 4/1. I have asked him to refund the $603.00 and call me when he receives the systems he has on order. I'll call Chase early next week to confirm this has happened. CJ - any chance you or Bob can determine when systems may come available? Regards, Steve ------------------ |

Steve, what a bummer that the exhaust system isn't on it's way, kind of funny he says he has 20 on order and you say there's only 17 on order by various dealers nation wide? I still think the Mopar Performance exhaust is the way to go, if you can get them system for around $600 it's a good buy ( as far as Prowler stuff goes ). Let us know how everything works out for you, later. Al |

I got tired of waiting for Denver to "see" if he gets them or not. So I bought the slightly used set from the classifieds and 2 new sets from Lakeland Chrysler for $609 each plus shipping ($70 or so to LA from Florida). Randy tells me they have INSTOCK, 10 more sets! Call Randy at 1 863-687-2501. I have to get Cliff to help me install pipes that fit now ------------------ |

Steve.......will try...... Al quote: Al, I've never had the stock Borlas so I cannot tell you how much difference there is between their stock and the ones they did for MOPAR. However, I can tell you that Borla specifically designed these exhausts for Mopar and their specifications. I have them on my 99 Black and have them for the Candy Red. I love the sound of the Mopar Borlas MUCH better than the stock Prowler exhausts. I think there is a big difference between those two. I love the sound. I'm positive that Jay's exhausts are everything he says they are. His products always are and Jay's integrity is way beyond question. I've not heard Jay's yet, but from what I've been reading I'm sure they're awesome. Everyone will have to weigh the differences and decide what they want out of their exhausts (besides exhaust fumes!). It's just too bad that Jay can't etch the cats on his, too! I haven't had the opportunity yet to have the Mopar Borlas installed on the Candy Cat yet, but I sure wish Jay had come out with his a bit sooner. I may have had two very different sounding cats. LOL Cliff, prolly be in next week, coming from Florida and ND (the used set). CJ, not heard the Mopar's yet, but heard and felt Cliff's muffler from Jay. Cheaper, but I still say sounds the same. Certainly romps on the performace increase though! Going to be interesting to see how the Mopar's stack against Jays muffler. Cliff and I will race and post results. ------------------ |

Todd, Before you install them do what I did. I polished the pipes behind the tips all the way to the first bend with a buffing wheel. The finish is now just like the tips. When viewing my car the exhaust system looks like its all chrome. Bob |

The exhaust systems are on national backorder. Denver does not have them in stock, so it's dificult to say when he will ship yours. If you want one in a hurry, call Lakeland in Florida...I believe Randy still has some in stock. Best of luck. ------------------ |
