500 pound capacity??? I guess as long as Rebecca weighs less than I do, the KAT can handle us!! If the car had more seats, I could take two of her along for a cruise.

I will speak from my wife's screename.

I seen nothing wrong or rude about the talking about sizes of women's butts. The truth is that for the last 30 years or longer, women are always asking: "does my butt look big in this dress, does my butt look big in these jeans, does my butt look big in these pants, etc." Women have conditioned their men to look at their butts. So now we look at butts, whose fault is that? Nice butts ride in nice cars. Next the J-Lo big butt girls will be in, small butts out. Where does it end?

I would like to see the guys stating at the beginning of their posts: FOR MEN ONLY: if their response contains some 'gray' remarks. This will alert the ladies 'not to read'. Think this will happen? NO....the ladies still will read the post anyway. Life goes on, why worry about the small things?

just my nickels worth

Todd - I don't know why, butt when I read that it synchonized with the tune Whistle while you Work! Dang, now that song is stuck - spinning around in my head - bouncing off the walls of the cranium cavity! It will probably be stuck playing there for a couple days now! All with your words!! Yeah, right, thanks.

Here's the answer you were looking for:

The Prowler door hinge limits the opening of the door so that the door does not interfer with the cowl and hood side panels. The main issue is the narrowing of the body from rear to front. The hinges were from the parts bin but the opening limit was revised.

thanks for the answer cj.if somebody wants to waste about
350.00 on 2 hinges plus body and paint, there is about a half inch clearence between dr,and hinge pillar.you could grind off about 1/8th.from stops.i really would have to remove side panels and look at mine,to see how much you could grind.that would help dr.open further, but how much, and you would weaken hinge stop. remember when you alter one thing,it affects another.other than that revision
i would cannot think of anythig else that would work.anybody out there want to spend about 500.00 to 600.oo.

I you look at the door frame it would be difficult to modify the door frame and door to get it to open further.
You only get 1/2 way opening doors on cars that are less that $50,000.

I have an idea---take the doors OFF! And hang a chain across the opening! COOL! The $9.00 door removal modification!

Curt Stall - good idea, but MadMax has been offering that modification and complete directions for $7.50 for many months. Max took 1st Place honors at the local lowrider show in January, with his door-off and chain idea, then was thrown out of the event after trying for a date with the trophy girl who was the promoter's young wife. Way to go MadMax!

Johnny B. - good taste? My calendar says 2002.

Most people here are off beat, off kilter, and many times off color. This is who we are. You still watching Desi and Lucy, the Nelson's, and the Clever's reruns?
