I got pulled over in Palm Beach by a lady cop for doing 45 in a 30 mph zone and me being a smooth talker, the lady cop gave me her # instead of a ticket!!!!
Where in Gardens do you live? I lived behind the Mall for the last 2 yrs. I loved living in southern FL. I have had my Cat for 2+ yrs now and have had nothing put fun. I was 23 when I bought my cat and back then the Prowlers were Extremely rare! The looks and questions were almost over whelming. I love the Prowler and I am so happy I did not settle with a Vette.

funny Brian, you must be one of the few who got picked up on by a female cop!~ So, enquiring minds want to know, did you go out with her? ------------------ |

Hey Spoons, Here's a story you may want to consider if you do go out with that woman cop. I was working at the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Power house in 1979 (welding Chrome pipe) when I was asked out by a female security guard. She told me she was into bondage. After we went out the guys on the crew asked me if I put the "cuffs" on her. "Let's put it this way I said, somebody got cuffed". Here's wishing you that you encounter a memory as lasting and joyous as mine! Chromer |

Spoons I have lived here in PBG since 74'. I think I spoke with you once a couple years ago at Moroso. Maybe you were racing the Kat? I was in my Vette which was fairly new at the time. Does that ring a bell? I think I mentioned I wanted a Prowler eventually. Any how I think we met.... If your in Hartford now you must work for Pratt? ------------------ This message has been edited by C5 Frank on 03-29-2002 at 11:12 PM |

Frank, I work for a software company and I support Pratt & Whitney. I think I remember you racing the blue vette like 2 yrs ago when I was at Moroso with my Prowler. Have you had a chance to run the Prowler? I had fun racing my cat, but I got tired of fending insults about the Prowler. ------------------ |

Spoons (Brian) That was me in the blue Vette. I did run the Kat not to long ago. With 660 miles on it, it went a best of two runs 14.69 at 91.3..... I was happy with that time. With more miles and improved technique I will try again sometime. It was tough weathering the comments about how slow the Kat is, But I tell them I have a 12 sec Vette at home along with a 11 sec Mustang.... So too bad. Take care! PS If you ever find yourself coming back to PBG, drop me a email... we'll have to meet up. ------------------ |

Frank, I travel back to Palm Beach often for therapy and the woman. They just do not make them like they do in Southern FL. Your cat ran pretty well at the track. I got all my best results leaving the tranny in Drive instead of auto-stick mode. I ran a 15.133 @ 88.3 mph with a 1997 Cat. The 1997 Cats have a 215 HP cast iron block with Al heads. ------------------ |
