![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You guys with body and paint experience, chime in.... I have a trailer with minor damage that has to be repaired and repainted (ran over a piece of metal). It's now the original red which matches my '99. Now, I'm waiting on a Candy Red and will be selling the '99 Prowler. What's your opinion on keeping the trailer and having it painted Candy Red to match the new '02. Your comments, please.... ------------------ |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Paul...... You're kidding, right? OF COURSE you should keep the trailer and paint it Candy Red!!!! Several people have asked me if I was going to get another trailer to match the Candy Red. Since the Candy Red has black bumpers, black top, black splash guards and black fender protectors, the black trailer will look fine!!! (It's going to have to look okay.....I can't afford another trailer anyway. Besides, Bob doesn't let me drive my car long distances, so I've barely used the trailer I have! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Paul, if the trailer has only minor damage I'd see about getting it repainted, if you can find it I would go with Dupont Emron paint. Two problems with Emron paint, 1. It might be hard to find because EPA want's it phashed out. 2. The automotive paint shop may not be able to get a perfect match to the candy red, being the trailers behind the Prowler I think for the most part you wouldn't even notice it. Ed had a good suggestion Al |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Paul, Keep the trailer. Make sure you get a good tech to fix the fiberglass. The prep work will "make or break" the finished product. I preferr PPG paint do to the ease of "repairability". The above poster was correct in the fact that a slight variance wont show due to it being towed behind the car. However,An EXPERT "TINTER" (found at your local automotive paint supplier) should be able to get the color perfect. Good Luck, |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When you paint it make sure to have them take the tongue off and paint it to match, looks awesome! JMO ------------------ |
