Alley Cat, I won't send you the money yet. (Just as soon as you start collecting from the other send me a bill, in the interim, it just another uncollectable.) At least let me send you a BIG THANKS for such a great idea.
The way this post is going and after I have seen what can or might be done to get a better fit there is still an outside chance that I could order a grill.
Rudy, if you get a fix, I would like to see it again.

Dan , after seeing your post, I think I might have spoken to quickly. Dose that mean that I have to pay the Alley Cat. I noted it was for Royalties, is there any way out of this?
Alley Cat, ah well, gives me a good reason to look you up on my way to Tucson later this month.(I need some tax deductions.)Will buy you a cup of coffee (or anything else that you can drink). I hope you like pennies.
Later,
Dan G.

DanG. RBADCAT - since you are from Simi Valley, I'll let you off the hook for payment if you can bring me one copy of O.J.'s DNA fact sheet and that cup of coffee.

The ALLEY CAT CHROME GRILL TREATMENT, is a registered/patented invention which carries a one-time $10 user fee. For those who haven't yet paid up, my lawyer Al Bendover is currently making out your past due statements. Be advised if not paid in 30 days, these names will be turned over for collection to the fullest extent of the law. Merry Christmas! Dan G. excluded,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks Marty, the pennies were bronzed!

Larry - I have never heard of anyone funding their entire retirement with pennies, but it sounds like due to my example, that may be the only form of legal tender you receive.

I found it very dishearting to read your comments Rudy's about a product we spent so much time and effort on. Instead of looking for opportunities to help improve the product as Paul R, ProwlerPro, and TaxCat did when they got their grilles. You have chosen to try and discredit the grille as something that was just thrown together and sold to you at a huge price. You did this even after you were offered a full refund or a different grille if you were dissatisfied. I just don't understand why trashing somebody or their products publicly, like you were wronged someway without recourse, does anybody any good. People like me that take their time to come up with products for the Prowler aren't parasites looking to suck money out of you, we truely enjoy the cars, and because we are creative we try to come up with products to help you enjoy your experience with the cars. You have very little idea how much money goes into the development of a product and then coming up with a price that everyone can live with. Sure the grille is expensive, but every one is hand built like a piece of art, and by the time the grille goes out the door we have made a little less than 20 percent on it. Trust me, building these grilles is not a get rich scheme. Because of positive input from others who are concerned about the growth of the market we are constantly making improvements. The top of the grille is and always was meant to be filled and painted to match the color of your car or left black, it was not meant to be polished or it would have come that way. As for the screen I explained in depth to you that there was concern by others that the car may overheat if a screen was used behind the grille. Next time you feel the urge to trash something or somebody's efforts on a product remember you are affecting the ability for them to come out with a new product as well as the people already selling products. Again I would like to offer you a full refund of your $1295.00 purchase price plus the shipping and handling or a new grille.

I purchased a grill from Mark about 6 months ago and am very pleased with the way it looks. It only took me a few minutes to adjust the grille to make it fit properly, and I'm very pleased with the product, but as Mark says, each one is hand made, so some variations should be expected.

The alignment on the body panels, lights and hood vary from car to car and are tweaked at the factory for the best fit, so it's easy to undertand that a grill that fits properly on one car may not fit well on another car. My suggestion for those that can't get the grille to line up properly would be to try adjusting the surrounding parts to fit to the grille. If the grille still doesn't fit, then call Mark and let him know!

From the time I decided I was going to get a Prowler I thought a `34 Ford style grill would really look KOOL.

Before Mark made his grill I bought another stock grill and had it Chromed. I like my chrome grill , but if I didn't have it I would have one of Marks. I seen it in his car at Woodward.

Would I like it to be different, YES. I would like to see polished flat stock and alittle closer together. But the way it is I would still have one if I didn't already have a chrome grill.

And as the others have said, all these cars are hand built and adjusting is required, NO MATTER WHAT YOU TRY TO INSTALL.

MARK, Thank you for making some nice products for our cars.

Mark, First of all I did not post my comments to Discredit your product. And second of all you never offered a full refund of anykind or a different grill. Because I would have taken the different grill. I'm happy with the Product I simply stated that the workmenship could have been done with a little more Finesse. Third, when purchasing you never told me about the top of the grill needing to be filled or painted. Look at your ad. Your grill isn't painted or sticking out if front of the hood. And last, I remember you telling me about the screen after the fact I had already received the grill. Opening the package and to no avail. All I'm saying is that when I purchased the grill and seen the imperfections I called you on them and I didn't get the opportunity to exchange or refund the grill. And at this point I'll live with it.
