Got new flag today for the house and the 2 Ed specials on the cat. I plan on going to boat dealer tomorrow to check on flag for the car. Some one suggested this and I remember the flags I had on all my boats had a hemped edge and will withstand the higher speeds. I brought my flag in tonight but plan on getting light for outside to leave up 24/7 I don't know how but Rick has figured out how to get an extra 3 hours out of each day. I wish I knew how cause I could sure use them. ------------------

Flag at half mast on the pole. This evening I lined the porch with candles, and lit a large one on the base of the flag pole. |

Had a really beautiful flag and pole stolen from the front of my house last night! Gee it didnt have anything to do with the party at my next door neighbors house last night did it.  By the way who the hell would have a party for no reason right now? Answer my idiot neighbor!

Quicksilver........ Had my flags stolen off my flagpole several weeks ago. Really ticked me off........am sure it was the kids in our neighborhood........they think vandalizing the neighbors is great fun. Actually had to rig some locks on the flags so they couldn't be stolen again. ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

We have flags on the house & cars. I must say, I've been very proud of all the what I've seen of the young kids (young men & women) stepping up, donating blood, volunteering around the red cross, and expressing their concern & love for our country. ------------------ |

We have a large flag pole in the front yard and fly the flag 24x7. Right now it's at half mast. Also have flags on the 3 cars. The new black PT Cruiser with the antenna flag looks like an official Government car  ------------------ |

Been stranded on the west coast since the attack. just returned this morning. First thing I did was to put a flag on the front door and flying one in front of the house. There are no more flags to be found so I will be printing flags on the computer to put in the windows of the cars. AMERICA PROUD AND STANDING TOGETHER ------------------ |

Flying proudly at home. Remember to light the flag if it is left up 24/7. That's proper flag etiquette. And, it is not be displayed in the rain either. ------------------ |

In Paris the French President stood at attention as the Republican Guard played the Star Spangled Banner. In Tehran, Iran they observed a minute of silence at a World Cup preliminary soccer game attended by 60,000. |

My home has always displayed a U.S. Flag. After serving 20 years in the Air Force: 10 Years in Germany, a year in Turkey and 9 years at the White House (with 3 weeks aboard the USS George Washington, CVN-73)I love this great country that's represnted by the flag. I've also displayed a flag on my motorcycle trailer, my motorcycle, and since last week have flown a large flag from my truck. Gil ------------------ |

Not sure what you mean, Ed. Flag display procedure is important, because the flag represents the essence of our nation. Ours is displayed during the day and comes in at night, and putting it out and taking it down always includes our prayer for all those who have died for our country. Make you a bet that a majority of prowler people are likely to be in church as much as anyone. ------------------ |

Flag displayed in window at home (no pole) Had 3" x 5" flag decal made and placed on rear fender above taillight. It is nice to seem so many people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds wearing red, white, & blue. What a difference from events in year's past. Marty ------------------ |
