I'll never forget that first pic at the airport Dan,,,,,,,,You were never the same after

JD, do you think that's what brought on the Elvis transformation or was it just the wig? Dan, do you put that wig on every once in a while..........just to kind of get back into the Elvis mode?

"Thank you very much........."

By the way, everybody........the DC person in charge of the party told Bob that our Elvis did a much better job than the Elvis they hired! Talked to my agency contact also, and she said she remembers him well, said he was great!

So, Dan, as we discussed, you need to continue with the dance lessons, get that hip movement down and start working on a sequined costume for next year's party!!! Oh, they may ask you to shave the mustache, though!

Oh, yeah, Bob reminded me that the next day, while we were cruising on Woodward, I was playing Elvis music in the cat and was holding up the radio so that you could hear it. He said that you were listening and trying to get into the rhythm, but you said that without the wig on, you just didn't feel it! It wasn't the same. LOL!

Nice pictures again Dan. The only problem was that it took forever to look at them all, with my gerbil-powered modem. The little bugger was running as fast as he could, but after running for two days the poor little guy got worn out.

I was wondering, you Woodward cruisers, did you get to see the other cars there? I know you got to see the parked ones. Were you in the cruise and not able to see the thousands of other cars in the cruise?

Punk N Purp has left the building.

Jim,

It was like a National Roadster Show on wheels. We saw plenty. I never experienced something like that ever. It is truly something to see.

We stood on the corner of 13th and Woodward (cruise central
for a long time and saw many many cars while cruising. For Linda and I, we don't ever get a chance to cruise with other Prowlers here in GA so our Primary mission is to have fun with other Prowler owners. We get so caught up in that pursuit, and there is so little time, we take very few pictures of the other non Prowler cruisers. My gear head friends at home don't understand either why most of my Picturs are Prowlers. That's how this gathering affects the Ware's anyway.

CJ,

Don't forget .... You are the one that came up with the idea for the custom.

Then JohnS I believe tells me to write ELVIS on my badge.

I then arrive into the campus and immediatley the photo people grab me from the arm and off I go. I thought you or Bob had rigged this whole thing up.

Very wild....

Very true, as you turned on the 50's music and I was half asleep in Bobs Durango, I felt my rear end starting to move but the rest of my body would not follow.

The wig has the MIDAS touch let me tell you....

It now sits in my drawer and sometimes think if that thing will begin to glow GOLD and start calling me out to go dancing again....

OH LORD !!!!

GREAT IDEA OF YOURS CJ....

Later.....

Dan - Just got home after weekend holiday. Have just spent over an hour quickly looking at all the great photos. It's like reliving being there. Thanks for the wonderful images. I can't imagine all the time and effort you put into posting these. Rebecca and I will really enjoy looking at these later.

Thanks

Happy Prowling

Marty

MY idea? You were the one that picked the wig up off the pool table and said that it looked interesting!! LOL! I did, however, have to push you into wearing the outfit!!

I believe that my mission has been accomplished after the Elvis escapade.........to turn you into an extrovert! LOL!
