I have a Chrysler 2k2 brochure and the only greens in there are the dark minivan greens you see all the time. The prowler yellow is too dark to the real color so I don't know how close the candy red is going to be... we will see ------------------ |

Whatever DC or any other manufacturer decides to do, there is only one Prowler. The shape is universal. Do you think the aliens out there a zillion miles in space have dragsters with the big wheels in front? Betcha we all made a really good investment. We find it way more fun than the mutual fund we sold to get it (which tanked six months later). ------------------ |

Cliff - the booklet I seen was not the 2002 total car line booklet, just the 2002 Prowler brochure. The new red looked similar to the PT Inferno Red. |

I looked at the same 2002 Prowler brochure as Alley Cat in Detroit. Jerry let a couple of us look at it as long as he was was standing looking over us. Colors listed for 2002 production included a new run of yellows, orange carried over from 2001, the new Inca Gold, Candy Apple Red. No color swatch in brochure for green. All tops - black, all interiors - Agate. From swatch Cany Apple Red looked to be darker than Real Rod C.A.R. but lighter than PT Cruiser color in 2001 production. Hope that helps. Happy Prowling Marty ------------------ |

I have it from reliable sources that the Candy Apple red will change to Dark Green Metallic when observed thru Sandy's good eye, or maybe it was WOOD EYE.( A really old punch line). Maybe it is the new cotton candy shimmer color. Yeller Cat, can you confirm. WIldcat, I was told Friday evening that the new Goldwings are out in the showrooms and they added silver and Chrome Illusion Red to the previous yellow, black, blue and C.I. Orange from last year. My friend said he saw the new silver one. I thought they came out in November. |

Andy- there wasn't a color swatch of the green. It was on the right hand page accross from the C A R Prowler. There was a Prangler painted this color in the brochure. It was on the top r/h side. ------------------ This message has been edited by PaulR on 08-25-2001 at 11:30 AM |

I just read the link above and saw this line in the fourth or fifth paragraph: Company officials said the Crossfire will be “an addition” to the company lineup, not a replacement for a current Chrysler vehicle. I don't think we will ever know if DC will stop production untill the day the line stops running! take care tsf... |

Passing some info on: The green Prowler on page 7 in the 2002 brochure is a Prangler mule painted 'nitro yellow-green' that was used on early Neons. ------------------ |

quote: Wonder if this unit was the same one a DC Wickenburg Proving Grounds worker seen there, and told us of it leaving and taking off for Texas area? There were several reported sightings of a green cat (with manufact. tags), but I didn't believe it. Now, maybe so? ------------------ |
