Does anyone know how I can get a F"N chrome grill?

Also, while I am Btchn, what is the deal with "Carlini Designs" I have wanted a chrome head rest for 2 months and the guy never has one. I think it is time I figure out how to fabricate some of this stuff and sell it myself. The only folks who seem to have it together are Tom Mills, The Shimmer guy, AERO Designs(Dash trim rings) and Parts Rack(Mopar Exhaust.

Any info on the above items might help settle the stomach.

Finally a male on here that also thinks with his big head rather than ... well, you know how it goes! You should never have put any weight on ANYTHING that fake (Sassy Mama) says - and is way too bad you wasted all this time thinking she (he?) would ever "help" you in any way. I find it very funny she "didn't know how to email a photo of the grill to you" when she had stated in a prior post of her benevolent "services" to some old guy in getting him "on line" and computer literate -- just another of many in a string of blatant contradictions ... Oh well, live an learn. Send to Florida your stock grill for chroming -- got mine back, loved their work, hated their attitude ... Prowl On

Carlini can only get about 5 sets a month chromed. This is a vendor problem he is having, which is causing his waiting list to be around 2-3 months long. But you can get NON painted or chromed for $100 for a pair.

If your in that big of a hurry, buy a stock grill in primer from your local dealership (list $410) & the unfinished head rest cover set ($100) from Carlini, and send them both to the place in Florida for chroming. They were charging $300 a few years ago just for doing a grill. BUT - at that time, they also had a waiting list of 8-10 weeks after they received the part(s). You should give them a call to investigate further.

If your going to do the above approach, I would suggest sanding the bottom side of the primered grill louvers. There are molding marks that show up in the reflection of the chrome. This makes a big difference in the look of the grill after all is said and done. If you have any questions, send me an e-mail.

I did NOT post anything that was "knowingly" false, NOR did I post anything that was "inaccurate, abusive, vulgar or hateful." And by NO means was it "harssing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening OR invasive of a person's privacy." I also don't believe it was "in violation of any laws" stated or implied.

Actually, it was a simple note of "caution" to echo a fellow member's frustration in dealing with another person who posts to this board. Have we not seen in the past the aility to caution one another when it comes to dealing with certain compaies AND individuals, or have we just become a "buyer beware" board now?

Since you are calling MY recent posts on this thread into question, I will only respond by saying that a VERY reliable source had a personal conversation with a certain pin striper who does specialty work for DC on the Prowler, and contrary to certain person's claim's ... this well known pin striper really doesn't know THAT person from Adam and isn't " a very good friend of" her's at all.

I am VERY suprised, Mike, by your response to this thread and will quietly concede to your wishes and withdraw from posting on this board in the future. I guess the message you are sending is that it is OK to cite rumor and conjecture and call into question the integrity of a very valuable person on this board, that also happens to have close ties to DC, but it isn't OK to scrutinize the posts of that person, or anyone, when consistant inconsistancies are posted.

I just hope that you won't threaten to "sue me" too over a public discussion forum post where free speech and free thought is encouraged. (I guess threats toward another member are also condoned, it seems)

As has been said by many, including FMITBT ... people ... lighten up, get a life and enjoy the stupid car that this site is about ... all else is meaningless!
