I talked to the embroidery guy today on his cell phone. He is in Columbus, OH at a MOPAR show and won't get back until Monday. He can't remember his cost on the smaller flags since he has never bought the smaller flags. He will give me a price Monday and I will post it. I sent a letter to the pole caddy co asking for a price for 50 sets. I will post that when I hear back.
Stoney, is the top of the loop on the edge of the flag, that slips over the pole, sewn shut? What holds the flag on the pole?
I also went to National Flag Co and got a brochure for US Flags but I will hold off posting that info until we hear back from Pole Caddy. If we buy them there we won't need a price. If he will just sell us the pole and hardware without flags, I will buy them like that and purchase the flags here in case everyone doesn't want US flags.

Just to give everyone an idea of what a discount you can get for volume! If you buy 3 silkscreened flags made the same, 12" x 18" they would cost $90 each, mostly due to the art work. If you buy 6 it drops to $ 53 each. 12 at $33 each, 25 is $24.20 each, 50 drops the price to $ 17 each and if you buy more than 100 of a single color it is $ 14 each. That is for silk screened, which is NOT what I am getting. We are getting embroidered. I hope this does not confuse anyone about what we are doing. I was amazed when I looked at the price list.

Yes Ed that would be fine with Silver Logo and White flag facing opposite.

Ed, not to confuse the issue even further, but my apparel contact called me back today with a quote.

One possibility is a 12" x 15" double-sided, silk-screened flag in colors to match the car with black or white (we would have to choose) Prowler logo and cat. The cost, including set-up charges, if I ordered 100, would be $7.85 per flag.

She will get back to me on Monday with a quote for all white flags with different color logos to match the cars.

This could be an alternative to the embroidered flag, since not everyone might want an embroidered one.

I think between the two of us, we could cover the desires of everyone!!! What do you thinK?

CJ and ED, why not do both? CJ, put me down for two in
the best colour ever made for the Prowler - BLACK
(More options, and more flags to add to the collection.
Wildcat needs some flags on the walls to compliment his
diecast collection)

CJ, that sounds like an extremely good price. This is on a nylon flag with a sewn loop or pocket to slide over the pole? When you say double sided, do you mean she is going to silk screen on both sides? Is that possible without bleeding thru or being able to see the opposite side? I am not trying to discourage it, by any means. Let's get all the facts and compare after Monday. The advantage of embroidered is the fact that the bumpers are black, the turn signals orange, the car is the correct color, the windshield is silver, the wheels are highlighted. Plus we don't have to order 100 of a single color, I can order any amount of any color. Most people do not want a car on the flag so all of that is a moot point. It is late and I am punch drunk. If the price is too high from my guy we might have to rethink it. Choices are good.

Ed, how do you get drunk on punch??? LOL

It is my understanding from the quote, that these are the size of the normal car flags you see. I thought the quote (I don't have it with me here at the cottage) said they were 12" x 15" (could have been the 12x18, will check). I specified that I wanted double-sided, meaning screened on both sides. If you look at the normal car flags (like my Denver Bronco car flag!) they are actually two pieces silk-screened and sewn together so it wouldn't be bleeding through nor could you see through.

The price she quoted me (and I am doing that from memory, but I do know it was under $8.00 per flag) was for a minimum of 100, but I could mix the colors. Would not have to be 100 of each color.

I called her back when she emailed me the quote and she was not there and has not returned my phone call yet (it was late in the work day). I will ask her to also give me a quote on white flags with any color logo done to match the cars. It will most likely be more expensive because you get charged every time you change a color. When we talked about the colored flags with either black or white logo, the set-up charges were figured in the price overall. I will have her find out what the cost will be to change colors 8 times and have them include that in the total cost and divided between the 100 flags. Will see what the cost of a single flag would be based on that and get back to all of you.

Keep in mind, that I told them not to include the poles, since we can't use them anyway. We will still have to purchase the flagcaddies. Which I think is okay, because I would still pay the $25 for the two caddies and the American flags. I would use them also and maybe rotate. I would like to actually fly one Prowler flag and one American flag!!!

Anyway, will get back to all as soon as I can. Hopefully, by Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Flag Caddie emailed me Sat. and gave me a price of $20 so I ordered 50 sets and sent a check. Your cost will be $ 21 plus shipping, if you need them shipped. FREE delivery to Crazy Horse and Woodward. Please DO NOT post here that you want them. If you are going to be at Crazy Horse/Deadwood or Woodward, I will have them with me. If you want a set, which includes 2 poles and 2 American flags but will not be coming to either event, email me at edmona@prodigy.net. Local tri-state residents can get them from me at upcoming local events (Andy, Richard, Ken G etc). If we need more, I will order more but 50 sets should be enough for awhile. Again, please do not post orders here, email me.
I will find out about the embroidered flags on Monday, hopefully.

I am a little confused here, but I would like to have two flags for a red prowler. I am not sure what you have finalized on?

Please advise.

Hey, John....

I know this all sounds confusing. I think that Ed and I both will be able to relate to everyone by Tuesday, exactly what it is we can offer.....

Hang in there, okay? Thanks!

The PROWLER flags with the cat and the Prowler in script are going to be $ 25 each. This is for the embroidered flag and is totally separate from the flag caddie and US Flag. For anyone that ordered the PROWLER flags and does not want them due to price, please email me a cancellation message at Edmona@prodigy.net. He is ordering the blank flags and will start to sew them this week-end if all goes well. Everyone who ordered them wanted a white flag other than Andy who wanted black with Red Lettering and Niranjan who wanted one silver with white lettering and one white with silver.
I am having extras made up but if you want a specific color please order very soon so I don't have a bunch of colors no one wants.
Again, this is for Embroidered Prowler flags, NOT US flags, Not silkscreened flags and not flag caddies.
