absolutely correct Ray... however... any FACTORY options like mudflaps and exhaust will NOT lower the value... but it must be factory items. ------------------ |

Where do you draw the line? Some believe any changes at all, aftermarket or factory changes the "collectable" value. If that's what your looking for, buy the car and park it. Doesn't sound like much fun to me. But I guess you will get your money back on the car. Don't expect these cars to increase in value in our life time.. OMO ------------------ |

Sorry,, having a bad hair day here. (I know, I know, it's hard to do for me. ). I was going to edit or erase most of the above post but I figured let it stand. I do believe collecting cars is cool, and I apologize if I came across disrespectful in that area. It's just my opinion the true value of this car in particular is in the driving of it. And in the looks. It's really a hot rod to me. So I guess I have no problem with making changes for performance, or better looks. If I can see a improvement for the car in my opinion, I will do that. Sorry if I stepped on any toes, I've been known to do that once in a while. John |

John Do you think I will like the Mopar performance exhaust. Will they hear me coming or do they sound the same as stock. Sasy ------------------ |

They may hear you moaning, Sassy, but probably not coming ... JMHO =)~ (put 'em on and be done with it -- you will like the sound much better than factory and it can be removed and put back to stock with very little effort) ------------------ |

I agree, most of us will be long dead before these cars appreciate significantly... the value to us is to drive them around and enjoy them. If you want this for an investment, anything but tech stocks are better. Ray... looks like she's got the girl for you buddy! ------------------ |

Well, first instinct was to say "in my pants where it belongs", but then decided against it ... ooops, I said it any way ... me bad! Not web enabled, or savy here, can't even get photos of the shifter bezel I did to post "too large a file" it says, so a banner is WAY above my abilities ... Thanks for asking though, "hot stuff" ... ------------------ |
