...and I thought I was done with ornamental modifications. How much? Please email me. I would like a little custom black/red paint combo if possible. Had a thought...Could the Cat logo be placed below the oval in a contrasting color? And could that line thru the oval be chromed???? ------------------ This message has been edited by NightProwler on 04-16-2001 at 01:07 PM |

1.Are they functional? Yes they are functional. The passenger side panel is at the exact same location as the air box intake. Remove the rear facing snorkel and it lines up perfect with the opening. We need to perfect a gasket to seal the air box opening to the side panel. The drivers side panel opening is approx. The same location as the supercharger to help dissipate the heat. 2. Availability? They should be available by the end of the month. 3. Do they come painted? They will come pre painted to match just like the rest of our products. 4. What material are they? They are made from a composite matting with a high temp epoxy resin. Not made from any chopper gun setup, this is high quality material. ------------------ |

Norb, at $1,000 for the set I'm looking forward to having your side panels. Otherwise I'll have to pass on the privilege. Think about the chromed line thru the oval! ------------------ |

Norb Looks like they won't match the supercharged air intakes??? Or do you have a tunnel inside for that??????????? ------------------ |

Chrome line through the oval is a must. Very cool! Notice every question was answered but PRICE. Is the $1,000.00 an educated guess? Does anyone have the real cost yet. ------------------ |

Todd, Not a problem. Never heard of water injection, more power, the only people to have a problem like that are the idiots without front fenders. ME |

Well.... I have both fender's and mud flaps... I have this lucky streak that means if there is a lil rain or water puddle somewhere... especially if I just polished them... I hit it. Guess where the water spashes? Right on the side, right where that cute lil hole is...and if there is not a deflector inside that hole... guess where all that nice "you need to wash your car again" water went... ------------------ |

Everybody likes these? TGF products are great and they have been a big suporter of Prowler lovers, but I think these side inlets do nothing for the car. This is OMO and I am grateful to Norb for other favors he has done for me. ------------------ |

To answer a few questions; The spear running thru the oval is molded into the side panel. We are looking into which would be easier, fabricating it as a separate item or fabricating a cover that can be chromed and placed over the existing part. The cost for these have not been determined yet. We should have the final costs together by Friday, 4/20 and will be able to post them on Monday, 4/23. We are trying to keep the price range between $600.00 - $1000.00 for the pre painted set. We would sell them unpainted for those of you who have custom paint jobs. I have not seen a supercharger setup up close to review the intake system. We did not want to jump the gun on developing a intake gasket if the design of the panel wasn't appealing and needed to be changed. Now that the majority is in favor of the design we have come up with, we can fully develop any accessories to complete these panels. We will want to test these for a short period of time to see if there are any water issues. We plan to have them available within 30 days. I know several of you want them ASAP, but we want to make sure all concerns are addressed before releasing the product. Thank you all for the generous support. I consider all comments that have been made here constructive criticism. we could product parts you ask for without your input. Happy Prowling !!!!!!! ------------------ |

Norb. If Friday works for you, I will trailer up the Paxton Leopard Kat and we can look for a cold intake solution for the S. Charger. Email me for a good time(to meet), maybe in the morning after traffic settles down? |
