I hate to say this being a mustang fan myself and owning one too, our Prowlers will beat any mustang without any serious traction work like TRACK LINK. The Prowler is lighter and does not need to work as hard to move 3100 lbs versus a mustang 3700 to 4000 lbs.

The Prowler traction is much better at take off versus a mustang. The mustang has too much torque and will spin those tiny 18 inch tires in a split second if you do not watch the speed. David Adams was forced to granny start his 460 mustang due to traction problems. If he floors it like John did on his Prowler, you would have really thought he was letting John win. The fact is he would have been back there doing his own version of a tire spin.

David Adams was betting on his top end speed to take John. The other fact is, John would have lost later in time since the torque on the V8 is much greater than a V6 at higher RPMs.

Any supercharged Prowler will take any mustang (with stick)due to its traction problems due to torque.

I read here that Lance was going to bring his mustang with slicks, now the variables are changing because the slicks will allow some of that big torque to stick therefore not having a need to granny start.

On a street race light to light, a supercharged Prowler will take any non traction modified mustang.

I speak from experiance and David Adams does too now.

I appreciate all your help and work to provide us with some of the best coverage of Prowler improvement known to catlovers.

I was thinking today that I need to check into cable connection. I sure would love to have this thing run like Johns and your Cat Fast , VERY FAST
