I guess nobody wants to admit it. I know I've heard of more than these people that have already postred their misfortune. Have a nice day Ed. |

I damaged a right front while backing up (not mudflap related, I hit a pipe sticking out of the ground) The bracket was undamaged. The local dealer gave me a great price for a new fender, but now I have an extra damaged fender with a good mount bracket |

It's funny this comes up at this time. I got both of mine repaired Right side had a small hair line crack from my mud flap dragging on a speed bump, but I now have them trim 1" I did a good job on the left side as I was backing out of my garage my left fender caught the side of the garage and put a 6" crack going from left to right. I was I took it to an auto repair shop and had both fenders done for 450.00 they did a great job. |

This topic is over 2 years old! Nothing ever came of it at that time and I doubt if anything ever will. |

Ontario is not willing to warranty anymore fenders from mud flap damage. In fact, the two they did, DC made them buy them back!! Just called Brad over there today, and this is what he told me. ------------------ |

Wow Todd - a response to a two year year thread to the day. When you look through old posts, does it amaze you that most of the issues are the same ones we still bring up now? I hope you get your fender problem resolved - of course you could always go for the Hi-boy look! Marty |

larry.mine damaged once.see my original post late last year about inexpensive fix.my fix , is better than brkt, because flap w/out brkt fits tighter/closer to fdr.no more vibrating i can be emailed at jbruggeman@vtaig.com.feel free,or find previous post.to repair w/new brkt.brkt.will have to be epoxied in place ,i recommend using 3m panel bond adhesive. ihave no brkt on mine for at least 6 mos.holding up well. ------------------ This message has been edited by jan bruggeman on 01-23-2003 at 01:06 PM |
