Sorry I cannot attend, but Ft. Lauderdale is just too far. I hope that someone invites the local / national media to record this very special event... the rest of the world needs to see and hear this. This really makes me proud to be a Cat owner and as I have said before, "you meet the nicest people when you own a Prowler". Sincerely, Jay |

JAY, bob one of the owners here in Dallas came up with the same idea and Paul is working on getting in touch with the local media. as usual I will take lots of pictures and will post as soon as we get back .so far I belive we have 10 cats going form Dallas,ft.worth,Denton and okcity. ------------------ davidn |

You guys are putting together a "Rosie" kind of moment. If anyone in the Lawtin tv market has connection with tv affiliate that is syndicating '"The Rosie O'donnell" show, you might contact the public affairs person at that station, explain the deal and ask for contact person and number for Rosie. You can get better cooperation if the local affilitate gets on board.. That same public affairs person, or better yet the newsroom "assignment editor" can be your best contacts for a local event. You might try some morning show idiot who might want to ride along live "on the air"in one of the cars...little public service "play by Play"...ratings are Sept. Oct., Nov. They might just love this. |

Hi Mike... We have contacted the local media in Lawton as well as the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. in that district. It looks like it could turn into one heck of a road show. We will take a lot of pictures and get them posted ASAP. |

Living in Ft. Lauderdale makes the trip impossible, but I really want to be a part of Patrick's wish. Today, I sent to Patrick's parents a "Yeller Cat" T-shirt in hopes he can wear it on his special day. I know all those Cat owners that cannot make the trip will be there in spirit and wish him well.
