17 to go from the Eastern time zone. Sandy got a snowmobile suit and some type of helmet liner and I see it was 21 degrees Sat. morning in Flagstaff. I might get a snowmobile suit after seeing that. We are leaving in 12 days and we are ready |

Gary, I called Avis, Budget, Hertz, Dollar, National and Thrifty. Got some bad answers and a few direct phone numbers. None to be had in Flagstaff, although I was told that they did have them when I called the 1-800 numbers. Called Phoenix direct and was told they have 3, if they happen to be there when you come pick up your car you can upgrade to a Cruiser. They want $60 & up a day. I figured on picking it up on Wed until Monday and that is $300 so I am mulling it over and there is no guarentee it will be there. It is out of my way to do it. I may just rent a car in Flagstaff, if they have anything available and it is cold. You had a great idea and I have 2 more numbers to call. I didn't get an answer at 2 direct numbers. i will play it by ear. |
