C.J. Julie is flying into Las Vegas on Thursday 11/2 at 2:35 PM on Southwest Airlines flight #1314. I will pick her up at the airport and then we will depart for our drive to Laughlin. The drive to Laughllin from Vegas is less than 2 hours. Add another couple of hours if you want to take a tour of Hoover Dam at Lake Mead. My visit to the SEMA Show will be a quick one beginning at the 10:00 AM opening time on Thursday morning before I pick Julie up. I am planning on departing Vegas at about 3:30 PM. I will be towing my trailer with me. If anyone needs,,,feel free to ship anything that you would like to have at the Grand Canyon Tour 2000 and I will be happy to take it with me in the trailer to Laughlin. After Flagstaff, I will return ship anything that you sent or any items that you may have purchased while on your trip and don't have room for on your return trip. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Larry Lord (edited 09-24-2000).] |

I updated again the "Who's going to the Grand Canyon" post at the beginning of this thread. Please check to make sure that your information is correct. If you have not yet sent me an E-mail about which portions of the event you will be attending please do so soon to help others make their plans. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Larry Lord (edited 09-24-2000).] |

C'mon everybody, help Larry out by letting him know which events you are attending. Makes planning difficult when you have to scramble at the last minute!!! Larry, if PhxSuncat's says Hat Killer, shouldn't Gary's say "Woodward Hat Smasher"? |

Hi Larry, I would LOVE to be there, but I have to be out of town on business that whole week. I would rather go with all of you than go to Florida with my husbands company, but I have to do the wife thing and be with him! As I sit through one boring meeting after another, my mind and heart will be with all of you. Have lots of fun for me! Love all of you, Carol |

Honest! I tried to talk Carol into going to the GC, but no dice!!! But then I understand the corporate wife thing......sometimes obligations are a pain in the @$$! We will be thinking of you, too, sitting in all the boring meetings (yeah, right!! ) More likely our spies on the beach will be able to get pictures!!! Have a good time.......... Luv ya buddie! CJ |

Everyone ask Gary C the following question: Just how cold is 52 degrees at 7700 feet going 70+ MPH with top down while wearing shorts and a tee shirt. The Run to the Pines was just warm up for the AZ Ghost Riders. AZ Ghost Rider |

I was informed today that the Riverside Hotel in Laughlin now has a special called the "Sweet Suite Deal" Instead of the quoted $19.00 standard room or the $25.00 riverview room, they are now letting the Suites with a balcony, oversized rooms and upgraded furniture be reserved at a rate of $35.00 per night for our Thursday night stay on November 2, 2000. I hope to see you there! [This message has been edited by Larry Lord (edited 09-29-2000).] |

Al Becker, trust me when I tell you that 52 degrees in a Prowler is on the edge of uncomfortable. Put the heater on at least halfway to hot. The biggest problem is the wind on the back of your neck. I've driven mine at 45 degrees and man, that's cold on the old neck bone, particularly over 40 mph. I-oughta-know-'cause-I-live-in-Wisconsin-Paul |

Judy and Mike: Welcome aboard the Prowler cruise! I'm looking forward to meeting both of you. Could you also bring those lovely dogs along? They could sleep in Gary C's room, and he has experience watching animals. ------------------ |
