Bring it on John, Bring it on!!

Just don't get to serious with me because I still want to be friends and share our findings for more horsepower on our Prowlers.

I always love good endings on sad storie!

EXTRA, EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT!!

I'm back on my Prowler a happy owner. I did not have to overhaul the engine since nothing happened to my compression, rings or valves.

I can tell you the Paxton kit held it's price in gold. No damage to my car and now know I make 306 horepower at the wheels. OH YEAH!!
I will first tell you what the dealer wrote on my service slip.

RAN COMPUTER SCAN AND VERIFIED ENGINE MISFIRE AT #6 CYLINDER- TRACED SYSTEM AND FOUND COIL #6 DRIVER WIRES NOT SEATED INTO PCM BOARD.
REPAIRED CONNECTION AND REPLACED FOULED OUT #6 SPARK PLUG. RECHECKED AND SYSTEM OPERATION NORMAL AFTER REPAIR.

I almost felt like I was in a Lexus dealer. These guys treated me like I would expect a Five star Dealership to be. They also upgraded my TCM (Transmission Control Module) software programing and my Prowler shifts very tight now. It used to lag when it would change gears but now it shifts and sits you in you seat.

VERY, VERY HAPPY GUY HERE!! I thank the one up above for his goodness!

PAXTON WAS NEVER TO BLAME ON THIS INCIDENT AND I'M GLAD I NEVER QUESTIONED THEIR SYSTEM AS THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. I LOVE THE FACT I HAVE PUT THE PAXTON IN MY CAR. IT FEELS GOOD TO PUNCH IT AND HAVE 306 HORSEPOWER TO THE REAR WHEELS.

Paxton has since contacted me and they commited to address the heating issue John Davies and I are having when we go up hill. They will investigate a higher density radiator for better cooling. Thanks Paxton!!

I was doing a search for a phone number and came across my first posts on the paxton kit. I was remembering the days.. AAAAHHHH, what fun!

Then came, SEPTEMBER 11 ....

Dan, my friend did the same thing with a sc'd RT. broke piston. Not sure how much boost but he had the timing adjusted wrong and detonation killed it. Sorry to hear about that.

Glad you had an easy fix. First time around for me with a SC application was a holed piston.

Dan - when I first read this I didn't look at the date and was wondering what happened as you use to have 332 RWHP. After a couple of minutes I saw it was from 2000.

I can certainly identify with the feelings you go through when you damage an engine!

(the rear pan was shipped UPS today!)

Hey Dave,

This is an old post back when I was installing my supercharger.

Al,

We told you not to go with the whipple supercharger but you wanted to try it anyways. You would have enjoyed your Kat alot more and put alot more stuff into it if you would have purchased the PAxton kit. Now September 11 came around and all your play money along with mine went down the toilet.

Your is still running though right???

Marty,

I figured this might happen but you caught it. Look forward to seeing your belly pan.

We will talk soon.

Later,,
