I have read the instructions on posting pics in the posting new topic frame, but I am wodering if anyone else has any helpful hints to shorten the process, or is it really easier than it reads. How is that for a run on. Anyway if anybody could help me by posting some easy to read instructions that would be helpful. ------------------ |

Here's how to do it. 1st upload your picture to your webspace at the ISP you chose. Let's say you uploaded the picture myprowler.jpg to www.earthlink~myname/images. On this site, all you have to do is type the URL as in my example here... and add the proper opening and closing tags at BOTH the front end and back end. On this UBB board, this set of tags is: [img] to open...then the URL http://www.earthlink~myname/images/myprowler.jpg and [/img] to close. No spaces where there isn't supposed to be one. (Notice the "square brackets" used!!) Hence, the whole thing together looks like this: (only with NO spaces after the first and before the last img tag..I added the spaces so you can SEE the proper code) [img] http://www.earthlink~myname/images/myprowler.jpg [/img] ------------------ |
