Some of the common questions I get are: How much did that cost? Is that a Kit Car? What year is that car? Who makes it? What is the HP? What size engine is in it? What size tires are those on the rear? Where did you get that car? What are the price of those tires? ------------------ |

When they ask me "How much did that cost?" I tell them "I don't know, it's my mom's and she is just letting me use it since I was good all week." Since I am retired, they can figure out my mom must be pretty old. |

Same as many of the above ... Mostly, what is that and ho makes it? Was even asked: Is that a Viper? said, yup, a rare one! Also lots of questions on performance! I tell 'em; Wanna go fast, buy a Vette or Viper, wanna get looks EVERYWHERE you go, buy a Prowler. An aquaintence was just in Monterey (sp?) and picked up a Lamborghini (wife sells diet crap through info-mercials, getting rich on people's stupidity) anyway .. he says; Anyone can have one of those ... as a crowd formed around my Prowlerand totally ignoring is $200+ exotic cars!! Ahhh sweet justice |

Yes, I get all those listed! My response to "How fast does it go?" is, 'As fast as you want it to go!' They DON'T like that response but what are ya' 'sposta say? Here's a typical one for ya'--asked by both my mail-carrier and credit union manager b4 seeing it: "What's a Prowler? Never heard of it?" Just yesterday, while at the pumps, naturally...a couple drove up even as I was going in to pay and asked what it was--I told them. He said, "Plymouth?" I didn't know they sold these kinda cars!" I said, They Don't....anymore! Have had a few take pics...so OTHERS will believe them, I guess! Kewl! |

Here in Los Angeles Ca. we have a ritual (sp) called "Flash em Fridays" by Thom Likas he is a radio talk show that also has the TRAFFIC!! on Fridays from 3-7 pm You drive with your Headlights ON!! and girls flash you thier Twins while Yelling "Likas Rocks" To be honest, in the BMW and Porsche it rarely happened before. But the Prowler Gets'em every time. I now drive the prowler every Friday. FireGabe On the other hand when people ask about the price I usually tell them it's my Boss's car or my dad's car. I am Normaly embarrased of my toys, People look at a thenty something kid in a nice car and think differently. Hey I work For EVERY penny I have DAMIT!! |

Have been asked most of the questions already stated. Whenever we trailer the cat somewhere and stop for fuel or something, the questions are immediately directed to Bob and he has to tell them that the car belongs to me, not him and that usually floors them......  On the trip home from Texas, I took paper and wrote "IT'S HERS!" and put them on both side windows. That solicited a lot of thumbs up, smiles and laughing! I think I make some permanent laminted signs! |
