Paper today advertised "12K Off Remaining 05 SSR's". They have a color that is like a Team Blue Green. Beautiful on this vehicle. Loaded, 6 speed etc. 390 HP, Wood Trim, Wind Screen etc.

The dealer said that if I had the GM discount (I can get Supplier) he would sell for 39K. Is that a good price ? Lists for $51,900. This thing, in this color looks very cool. Vette Motor, 6 Speed, all the options.

Of those who have them, do you like them ? Like the Viper and the Prowler, I believe that thius car (truck) will increase in value someday (when I am no longer here , but what the heck). Advice ?

GO 4 IT! Make sure they don't scald you for dealer add-ons or heavy documentation fees

Don't have one, but looking. That price is a lot better but will wait a little longer. They are nice.

So 39K is an excellent price ? Are they actually going for lower than that right now ? My prowler was at like 45,400 and I was "proud" to ge *** at 38K.....

Check out the Chevy website, to check prices. Now they have some special offers that give you $5K off a new 2006 SSR or 0.0% APR for 36 and 48 months.

Stay Cat:

Try the SSR site - for sale section. There is someone named islandreams who sometimes comes up with some great pricing. I know nothing about his character or business practices.

Have you tried selling on ebay?

I was offered $30k trade in on my 04 with 15k miles a couple months ago. And no they weren't over allowing either.

15K miles - wow, you drove it a bunch. Did you experience much troubles ? Has it been reliable ? These things are dropping in Price, and if you want to drive one, for 30-40K they offer a lot I think. If you want to make money, then buy an older car and fix it up. I am enjoying the Viper and the Prowler - no problems, just change Oil, Keep clean and Drive. I like that. If the 03's are only pulling 25K, that's a steal for a bunch of fun - and there are things you could do to make it faster if you wish......The SSR, because of the Neat top might be a fun everyday Spring, Summer and Fall car. And with the 05 having 390 horse and a six speed, it's a different vehicle than the earlier ones.....

I use it as my daily driver and love it. I haven't had any real major issues with it. It has only been in the shop one time in it's whole life, due to the electric cooling fan motor going out. That's it. I do my oil changes myself. It's been great. I have taken it on several road trips. I've driven it from Dallas to Detroit for Autorama, the Wisconsin Dells event, and I did the Power Tour with it last year from Nashville, to Orlando, and continued on to West Palm Beach.
Marty and Bob can tell you about gas mileage and range, as I did several legs of the Power Tour with them. It was nice not having to fuel except every 500 miles or so.

It's a great bang for the buck, and 06 is the last year of production.

Ron

We bought an aqua-Blur,chrom rims 2005 last week in dallas for
$29000.- A 2004 silver was aviable for 24500.-
After the turkey run in daytona my friend flow to dallas, picked the SSR ups, drove to LA. The SSR cruises comfortable and powerful, its a nice ride. After LA RodShop Tour we filled the SSR trunk with parts and shipped te hole package to Germany.

... sorry, used, 13000 miles,but like new !
