We became associate members of the El Paso Corvette Club. We took the S2000 for our first cruise-in, but will take the Kat when she is finished having the speaker box cover airburshed and re-installed. Seems like the Corvette owners are more acceptable of other vehicles and welcomed us. No, we are not thinking of buying a corvette although the new style is more to our liking and Norm wouldn't mind having a Z06 in Daytona Sunset Orange.

Didn't realize you were from El Paso Pumpkin. Do me a favor and drive out east on I-10 to the Fabens exit and go north about 3-4 miles to the Cattlemans and have a Cowboy T Bone and then come back and tell me about the best damned steak house in North America. (reason I know it is the best one is because I've eaten in ALL of them)

We are from Las Cruces New Mexico which is 50 miles from El Paso. I guess we have too buy, but yes, we have eaten there and your right about the best steak in north America and bring a big appetite with you.

Norm and Pat - I've found the local Corvette Club in Phx to totally dislike the owners of other cars,,,,,they snub their noses at the local Az Prowler Trash owners.

***********************************************************

On to the next subject here,,,,how could an 'old' Brahma humped bull from west Texas ever eat better than a Nebraska corn fed steer??? No way,,,,,you guys compare Texas road kill to quality beef,,,,,,,,,you ought to be hung

Being from KC area, it is difficult for me to admit AC, but trust me on this one...I have eaten Nebraska/Iowa's finest and nothing even comes close. They raise their own beef at this Texas Dude Ranch, butcher and age right there where the restaurant is. I once drove 300 miles out of my way on my way to Pheonix just to eat there.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM a Good Steak from a Texas Cow?

I have been a on and off agin member of the local Corvette Club here for 15 years, and during that time have had several rare vettes but the minute they are not stock you think you just killed somebody. But I still get invited with the Prowler, I will not go to a show but if a Auto Cross is on the list I will show up in the Kat and piss them all off.

You are so right, they love stock corvettes. We will see, my brother in-law is the corvette guy. At least they do things every weekend almost. Time to get a steak. Hey, AC, I spoke to the cows out here last night and they still love you and the sheep too

You have a striped white S2000, I thought that I was the only one in the world who had one of those.

Are you on S2ki.

Norm, Pat,

Sounds like you may be in the market for a Vette soon. Buy mine. Tom's Vette For Sale-Ad
It just happens to be in El Paso in storage right now. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Mega-Dittos on Cattlemans Steak house. I will be there for dinner this Sunday night...
