Very cool! How does it work with the connection to the windshield? Does it seal well there when it rains? When will it be available? How much? Great...

jmo,let us know how many times you do that before the w/s or a pillars start to crack.fyi the a pillars are not aluminum, metal.they are composite glass.nice idea, can the pillars take that extra weight.the w/s and a pillars are the weakest part of the whole car.

Depending on the Price, I might have to give the edge
to Katmat's New rear deck with trunk hatch

http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/003137.html
www.KnaackIndustries.com

You could install his and still sell the OEM Deck

Both are great Mods

Brian

I would say your idea for this would surprise me but after meeting you and seeing what you do and how you do it I don't think anything would surprise me that you would come up with!!! Great job and thanks for coming up with Mods for this great car...

Wish I was still close to see it in person...

I'm hoping the price comes in around $1000. I'll have it all finalized in a few weeks.

It is a great piece of engineering. I saw it at Deep Creek. For those who may have a concern of A-pillar damage, there should be no issues there. The hard top is very light. From and engineering standpoint, there should be no more pressure than the J-hooks pulling on the A-pillar when attaching either top.
Great job Brian !!!
