jmo,let us know how many times you do that before the w/s or a pillars start to crack.fyi the a pillars are not aluminum, metal.they are composite glass.nice idea, can the pillars take that extra weight.the w/s and a pillars are the weakest part of the whole car. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 06-14-2010 at 09:42 PM |

Depending on the Price, I might have to give the edge to Katmat's New rear deck with trunk hatch http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/003137.html www.KnaackIndustries.com You could install his and still sell the OEM Deck Both are great Mods Don ------------------ dwmcormack@gmail.com |

It is a great piece of engineering. I saw it at Deep Creek. For those who may have a concern of A-pillar damage, there should be no issues there. The hard top is very light. From and engineering standpoint, there should be no more pressure than the J-hooks pulling on the A-pillar when attaching either top. Great job Brian !!! |
