Has anyone painted the part of the frame that shows right in front of the rear wheel ? If so did you paint it black or the color of your car ?

If you are trying to make it unnoticeable, I would paint it your car color. I think black will still stand out, unless your car is black. If your car is silver, no point painting it.JMO

I used semi chrome on mine

To get really polished look would need to lightly sand and then start buffing

I have a set of polished stainless covers somewhere that I bought and never installed

Instead of painting if you wanted to hid the exposed corner try some vinyl then if you don't like it just peel it off.

It just stands out. I would like to make it less noticeable. Just a thought- no big deal.
