We have had several non-California Prowler owners interested in shipping their car to Paxton Automotive for supercharger installation. I wish we could install every system to ensure that the vehicle is working properly. I am looking into the possibility of regular transportation from the east coast to the west coast and back. The general idea is that every two weeks a truck would pick up three Prowlers, deliver them to Paxton and return the three Prowlers from the previous two weeks. I am currently interested in the level of interest in this program. Who would be interested? You can post here or e-mail me at dadams@paxtonauto.com Thanks David Adams |

Dave-this seems like a good idea to ensure the integrity of your product. Of course the trucking costs will vary, but do you know of a trucker that will pick up the Cats as a return run for cost savings? What do you estimate round trip trucking from the right coast will be? ------------------ |

I've used Intercity Lines twice for enclosed transport of street rods. I was pleased with their service. It was about $1/mile. ------------------ |

We just had a Prowler delivered by truck. I asked the trucking company for info and they are checking pricing. They would be able to fit three Prowlers per trip. The general idea would be to send the delivery truck back with three supercharged Prowlers. This will take alot of planning. So if anyone is interested let me know. dadams@paxtonauto.com or 888-9-PAXTON x 224. Thanks |

I have quotes for shipping Prowlers to Paxton. The cost is for a one way trip per vehicle. From: The vehicle can be picked up from your location and does not have to start in any of these areas. One car can be shipped at a time. We do not need to ship three Prowlers at once. The return cost would be the same. Though it may be more fun to fly in and drive the vehicle home. Let me know who is interested. 805-604-1336 x 224 |

I checked into the cost to have my Prowler shipped to one of my other homes. The transporter said they recently received a new "AD" a few weeks ago from DC that says to use hooks instead of the nylon straps with the D rings. I don't have all the details. Others on this site probably have more specific information but I just thought I would pass this along. Hopefully someone can elaborate on this. ------------------ |
